I'm a Stochastic man myself!
I don't mean volume in the way you're referring to I mean (account) volume generate via multiple accounts.

Is McDonald's mega because of 1 store, is the US Post Office mega because of 1 stamp, are owners able to pay millions to athletes because of a single fan??? NO.

So, what's the power behind real growth? NUMBERS!
(Ain't nobody getting wealthy without numbers/volume... unless or course it's inherited) lol

It's been going for years and those whom struggle need to know. We see the examples everyday in our lives but fail to align ourselves with this powerful element.

A trader mustn't only learn strategies they must also structure their trades whereas "a little gets a lot instead of a lot getting little".

So what does that have to do with multiple accounts?

Why not issue the same trade via multiple accounts using less contracts which greatly decreases exposure and increases the odds for success?

If you went long gbpjpy via 10 accounts and profited $50 each using 5,000 contracts isn't that a heck of lot better than using 50,000 or 100,000 to get the same return? THINK MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS... Walmart does, McDonald's does, your Government does; it'll work for you also IF you let it.

Example:

If you've got $10,000 in your account and you're vested in several instruments. They're combining forces to pressure your margin. Margin calls are a traders worst nightmare. Your expose is greater via 1 account because you have to use more contracts to make a decent or worth while profit.

It's best to use smaller contracts via mulitple accounts because you'll be far more comfortable and far more profitable.

Many trade a single account and in doing so they usually trade using far too many contracts. And many of them would say "BUT I CAN'T MAKE ANY REAL PROFITS OTHERWISE". I would respond by saying "YES YOU CAN IF YOU STOP THINKING HOME RUNS WITH A SINGLE ACCOUNT AND START THINKING HOME RUNS WITH MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS.

This knowledge is very important because many traders over trade leading to huge losses and margin calls. Capital presevation is the most important aspect in trading and any other business.

Multiple stores deliver far bigger profits than a single store.

In closing I'd suggest learning to buy the dips during uptrends and selling the rallies during down trends (pullbacks/fibonacci retracements). If you don't already know how to do so there're plenty sources in which one can learn.

Trade from larger timeframes (hourly| daily | weekly) because direction is far clearer and one's force to be smart with their contract sizes because of the volatility.

The key to trading as far as I'm concerned is multiple timeframe synchronization, contract utilization and multiple accounts. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion and this is mine.

STOP TRYING TO HIT HOME RUNS FROM A SINGLE ACCOUNT; IT'LL CAUSE YOU TO INCREASE CONTRACTS WHICH INCREASES RISK AND LEADS TO HUGE LOSSES OR MAYBE EVEN WORST... MARGIN CALLS! <MAKE MONEY AND STAY IN BUSINESS>

So instead of using 1 Lot contracts, you'd use 10 minilots?
So instead of one account making or losing the same amount, 10 accounts gain/lose 1/10th of the amount simultaneously?

How is this any better?

Walmart/McDonalds and other stores started out with one "account" (or store), and as they grew bigger they added more "accounts".
McDonald's didn't start with 10 stores that are each 1/10th the value of a regular store. They started with a regular store and they grew from there.

If this is a lesson in MM then yeah, it's a good idea to not be undercapitalized, but spreading your capital to 10 different accounts and risking a tenth of what you normally would is not changing your MM as far as I know.

I want to make it clear,
One store profit $1, so 100 stores make profit $100.
So how if one store loss $1 ?
We will loss $100?

We cannot make same between McDonald and Forex
Why McDonald build many stores in many country?
Because of the market, assumed in one city there are 10000 peoples, so the market for one store in one city is just the 10000 people
Because of the limitation of the market in one city, McDonald build another store in another location to get another market in another city.

But in Forex, there is no limitation for lots in trading.
So you can trade as much as you have.


1 account ($100) profit $1
2 account ($100) profit $2
..
..
..
10 account ($100) profit $10

So why not just trading with 1 account ($1000) and we can get $10 too?
