Dear fellows, want to meet with traders who have sitted inside a curreny dealing room using one minute chart for scalping or who have practical experience using one minute chart to scalp. We can exchange for experience, tactics & discussion !

I trade the 1 minute aswell, please include me in the group / discussion.

Yep I trade 1Min charts ( use 15M aswell for a longer term view )

Can't see how anyone would or could use anything higher to trade off personally.

I'm not in a dealer room though, just at home

hi,

im trading on 1-5-15 min. mostly g/j. there are not many people trading on that small TF´s, but for me its the chance to see the heartbeat and often you get an early entry for positions you can hold for some hours, thats the beauty of this

You can't see the price action on anything over 1M for say the last 30mins, plus all my SMA's become inaccurate even on 5M, there no way i can do a immediate 10min direction which is a very powerful short term momentum indicator.

I couldn't find a Meta 4 demo platform though with good m1 data, had to stick to Meta 3, anyone ??

try oanda fx game, not the best but better than mt4 on 1 min

Alpari UK has the best demo mt4 platform. Extremely accurate. Last I heard they have like 5 redundant servers. I chart MB Tradings data directly sometimes too cuz they're my broker and its similar enough to Alpari that mostly I just watch Alpari charts on mt4.

I use the 1 min chart to determine my entries for a scalp or even a longer term trade. I start out with the 30 min chart for support and resistance then slowly move my way down till i get to the 1 min.

The ideal use of the 1 min chart is to determine where short term stops reside. Once triggered you can enter on the rebound and bank some quick pips.

lol thanks, I use something along with the 1sec chart other than his indicators, I'm sure I will get them at some point as when you go to the workshop they are included and I plan to go.
