Thats a huge pin! Where will your stop loss go? The risk:reward ratio doesn't seem that great if you're only shooting for 1.0117 and put your stop above the nose of the pin??

TT5 does not use stops... !!! You will have to read back a bit....

TT5 SHORT USD/CAD @ 1.0220.... Target 1.0170... 50 pips..

There is some bigger money on this one.... I will say how much later after I win or lose.... !!!

TT5 CAD from last night... Target hit for 50 pips

OK I said i put bigger money on this one... I also used a stop above the Pin...

Total gain to my account.... 7 %.......!!!!!!!!!!

TT5 is somewhat similar to steviet's method. No to very WIDE stop and small take profits. The high accuracy to hit your TP eliminate the small occasional losses. Maybe we've found the holy grail folks :-P

I congratulate you on your tremendous success with the TT5 trading. 11-0 at 50 pips a hit is great. Keep up the good work. I especially like how you stuck with your plan in your practice account when you had a string of 4 losers, then it got back on track. I really like the main focus of trading to the 5 EMA but trading W/O a stop sure concerns me. Your general plan determines the direction and goal but the entry is varible and is the next most important factor in success with this plan. It also seems you took some heady drawdowns before positive results on several of the trades. Makes for nerves of steel.

I traded as close as I could to how you have described the method, last night starting at 10:00 Pm CST (I am your neighbor in Pasadena Texas). I did alter it in that I used a stop at the next major fractal. I just couldn't bring myself to go to bed on a trade with no failsafe stop, even in a practice account. I put on 4 trades and had 4 winners (G/J, E/U, U/Chf, G/U),3 of them for the full 50 pips and G/U I set for and got 47 pips (from 9551 to 9598, as 9600 worried me). I can easily see how occasionally making slightly different entry choices could have completly different results, but I like the general framework. My primary method is using price action on daily and weekly TF's, as taught on J16, but I can't deny my love of scalping. I intend to open a separate real account for scalping when my confidence and practice account history warrant it.

I know it is not deal killer on making this work, but I did not see in the thread what you used as band levels associated with the 5 EMA. I used 89, 144, & 244, its not perfect for all pairs but it does give decent persective.

Yes !! About 15 %.... I was regreting it after I made the trade..... I should not have gone so big.... But I liked this Pin Bar... I had faith... CAD was bouncing off resistance and BOC did not lower rates..... I thought there was a good chance for me... and all I was looking for was a measly 50 pips....

I know I know.... but 50 pips a shot is working for me... I like it.... I have found something finally that works for me.... and CAD always burns me.. better for me just to get in and get out !!!

50 pips at a time is fine... I am not greedy... leave some pips for everyone else.... look how fast they are adding up !!!

And as for Jacko.... I don't know the whole thing there, but seems to me his really depends on a trend... and my opinion is..... EUR trend is about over.... !!! We will range now.... and that is great for TT5....

When I started TT5 I too had problems with out having a stop... it goes against the grain of all I have learned.... but.. keep in mind.... at 1% to my account on average for 50 pips.... it is not often a candle will go so far against me in one day.... if a pair suddenly goes against me for 200 or even 300 hundred pips.... it might hurt, but not the end of the world.. also remember... most often I am making trades when price is already far away from the 5 ema.... and you can look back as far as you like... you will see.. price will only go so far away from the 5 ema.... it will come back....

And I did use a stop last night on CAD... as I was risking very heavy on that one... but as MBQB said above... if I have lost... it would have been about 15 % !!! A LOT TO LOSE....

Well Mate,

Looks like you are tyring to shoot yourself in the foot again, But this time you missed and came up smelling of roses.

Been watching you work your way out of the hole you put yourself in last time doing something similar. Has been good for you to go and craft a method that revolves around how you see the market. Brilliant.

Keep going mate your on the right road just watch out for those land mines would hate to see you back in the hole again.

Hey.. lets face it... it was a good pin.... for 50 pips... !! We'll see if it's just getting going... !!

It's a beautiful head and shoulder patter on 4 hr... !! Those are the Pins I really love... I say that H & S pans out some more and CAD goes down some more tpp !!

hi tiki!!! yours TT5 tardes be wonderful but what is PA?. your put 5 ema in daily chart and??? , what conform the tunel? sorry for my englishhh jeje
