you are correct 1.5600 was an obvious place for a bounce and there was a high probability of it doing so,but once it broke thru there by 25 pips or so then the next support was now the more obvious support at 1.5500 the risky part was the long scalp going for that 30 pips scalp i could have been stung right there once it dropped to 1.5562 i was counting on the fact that there is always a strong buying interest for the euro due to those "strong long term economic fundamentals" that Paulson was referring to lol

stopped out on my second half re-entered at 1.5494 long stop below 1.5470

...so basically, in a nutshell, you got lucky nice one, I just thought there might have been a hidden setup there thats all...anyway Im not going near eur with a bargepole now

I actually got in on the eurusd short at 1.5803 for a couple of reasons. mainly there was a yearly and monthly pivot sitting at 5825 that it tried a couple of times to get through and couldn't and my stochastics that I use were all overbought on the 1 hour chart. I waited for it to bounce down then got in. I am still short as it has not shown any reason to get out.

Next major support that I see is sitting at 5411 with a montly and yearly pivot grouped together again. It could decide to bounce there again.

With Bernanke opening his mouth just about every other day about the U.S. and how super dee duper everything is we could see the dollar strengthen for a while. Doesn't mean it will continue. Someone will probably raise enough hell about the real inflation numbers instead of taking out gas and food the two most purchased items.

Lowest low of the last 3 days - and close to the lowest low of the last 21 days (from only last thursday).

At best this pair can be called is range bound until 1.60 or 1.53 is broken and right now we are a hell of a lot closer to 1.53

I don't have a clue which will happen but I would more cautious leaning either way no matter the fundamentals or whether there was any WMD's in Iraq. WTF that has to do with forex I'd like to know.
