Would be nice to see negative US news to have positive effect on USD rather than other way round

also 9700-9710 looks like nice resistance. should go down sooner or later.

as i say yesterday, it moving up by 70 pip before news, and after news it move up 30 pip....

And the well known Mr 9722 that played hard as support and resistance for days.... That's why I put a TP at 9725.... 9722 as resistance, + 3 pips for gambling

I prefer scalping in the direction of the move than trying to catch the reversal. Price were so telling BULL 5 min prior to the news AND broke 9700. Too much indication and moved without hesitation... Maybe a leak?

Now yen under pressure across the board.... USDJPY was the only to retrace to US open levels so far...

If the carries fail, we may retrace to the 9660s again....

Anyway, time to get abit serious. Does anyone know anything about 1.9705-9715 for cable? Any important pivot or fibo or something else? Maybe it's for longer timeframe.Just curious.

This is the area of the 50% fibo from high 9913 to low 9481. There were reports saying stops would be found here. Next one is 61.8% at 9749, but I really don't know whether or not the market would place the price at that high level prior to NFP....

Just noticed that the ISM Manufacturing Prices number was changed on FF to 53 i think it was close to 47 right after news release, or am i wonrg?

We are still in this tremd corridor I mentioned earlier even after a minor adjustment and discounting the new blip. The current lows on the 15 min chart are still short of the line at present although a candle touched it 30 mins ago. I will keep you advised if I see a change.

just noticed that there is a lot of open ordrs to sell pound.

 

  1. Top-right quadrant: Buy orders at a price above the current price
  2. Bottom-right quadrant: Sell orders at a price above the current price
  3. Bottom-left quadrant: Sell orders at a price below the current price
  4. Top-left quadrant: Buy orders at a price below the current price

50% fibo 9913 to 9481 is 9697, so I dont think it's because of that. Plus this 9710 area was tested for many many hours last week, before cable went down to 9481. Must be something else, no?

I don't have that chart at my GFT system, do I? Liked that....

Traex, you're right... I just happened to receive this report stating stops in this area as the 50% fib... An area, not the price at the pip...

This is as good as it gets...
