Dear bobokus:
the price break the swing high, i buy it at open of the next bar, the target is T1, am i right?

From what im seeing you should already be out on T1 being hit. Me normally I dont wait on a high or low to break im looking more from entering at the inner levels. I didnt get in this long this morning , If ive missed it I just miss it and ill wait for the next opportunity. In this case we would look to buy the bounce if support holds now......another possible reversal in play .

Hello all,

Cable is short in general, i look at the larger time frame and trade along the trend on intra-day.

price needs to break-out from the box to confirm that.

Hey Bob,

Since I have been learning your Fibs and incorporating stuff I learn from reading skunny's thread I have never seen a cycle completed on my chart til today so I decided to post my chart.

I am exploring the tread of past, you mentioned that you place buy stop above the swing high, but now you say " I dont wait on a high or low to break im looking more from entering at the inner levels." so what is the meaning of that. could you please give me more hints.

I dont think youve got the basics down yet, use this as a guide to start from. There are just too many situations and conditions that can change the general idea behind the tool that we could go on and on for days talking about this situation or that situation or what if this happens or that happens.
Start from this, as you go you will be able to spot reversals and failures. Reversals as a general rule happen when you get more than a 61.8 retracement from the previous days move or singe last move. Failures or loss of momentum are when you fail to reach your target range and happens very often in ranging markets...which we see alot of with Cable. Your not necessarily looking to enter on every single movement...after you spot reversals you want to wait and see if the( inner levels) hold to confirm the reversal.If you wait for the market to come to you youll have much better success, if your chasing the market on every single movment your account balance is soon to be lost.
All of this is in the thread many times as well as several homework type posts that can help understand whats going on better..you just have to sit down and practice it and it will come to you.

That may have been 1 instance of when you dont get a retracement in a strong move and all your left with is taking the break of the high or low, youll find that several times in the thread as you read along. Its dangerous to do so in the sense that it may finally retrace on you once youve entered after the break of a high or low because you find it wasnt necessarily a high or low break only the high or low of the previous day not the high of a movement, this goes along the lines of the Intraday fib may sometimes includes candles from the previous or following day.

I dont really look at it in terms of a cycle completeing, it either hits its target range or it doesnt, when it doesnt you just look to reset and go at it again. Waiting or holding on to a trade to complete a "cycle" can be dangerous.
But its a thing of beauty when everything clicks as it should and we get into a continueous trending move. with the Euro your seeing 2 different moves...move the high of your fib to the high created today and leave you low where it is..this is the 2nd trade that went short.

Looking like a reversal day overall on the bullish side....though take into consideration the fact that we have a double bottom....also take a look at the markets consolidation over the past hours it has been in a range...The factor that is bearish sentiment to this is the fact the price rejected the intraday levels earlier today...But looking at the bigger picture price is finding major support at a big 50 percent fibb....what confirms this is all the double bottoms that have been found on that area....

My first chart is the 1 hour chart showing the close image to the market....

Seems to me like every trade should be treated like a scalp....to much indicion guard pips....

Fundamentally
its neutral since the report is not expected a dramatic change...though overlal look is bullish since the fundy at its neutral state is more bullish since its above 50 ...

the cci make a divergence, so go short.
and the price retrace very shallow, make a strong evidence that the bear is stong.
target is t1. 50 pips .
