Given the name of this indicator I had to have a look 
Initial impression was that it was pretty good, sometimes a signal can be seen before price actually turns.
I had a look at the code then realized that the calculation for each bar actually uses the value from the period AFTER that bar, which means this indicator will most likely give different values in real time compared to looking at it historically.
i.e. if you run it live in real time, note the values of the bars produced as each period progresses, then remove the indicator and put it on again, you'll likely get different values for that bar

what IF.. you use multiple solar winds (or float indicator which is just the same) with different inputs or timeframes. Maybe you'll get a signal on the long term solar wind, and wait for the short term solar wind to trigger..just a thought

yes, 'Solar Wind' is a mod of "Fisher TransForm" and it repaints history. So it has absolutely no use. There is a Fisher version that does not repaint and then you see the "real thing" that is not so impressive anymore.
