Yes... I expect TT5 to come tomorrow on GBP/JPY !! But will Tiki be home form work to take advantage.. that is the real question... !!!

Glad I didn't have to tell ya about cup and handle... !!! See.... ! I know a couple of things.. !!!

Today will finish as a fairly strong BUB.... so maybe tomorrow we will get some more up... and then it will be time for a TT5 SELL on GBP/JPY

Today would have been a very nice SELL TT5 on USD/JPY

Short @ 105.35 for 50 pips and out @ 104.85

I was not home to do it though... as usual... !!

Yeah....... a couple of more good trades... and I will be back to BE !!! And still have a chance to make some real profit this year !!!

Finally my "aha" moment seems to have come... ! I don't feel that pressure or itchy finger anymore to make trades.... my system and way of trading works for me.... I just wait.... finally I seem able to do that.. and when it's time, I make the trade.... if I miss the trade... I don't cry, I know the next one comes.... I want to make money... and finally I can resist the temptation to make the impulse trades... I don't need them anymore... so I don't lose money on them.... I am not greedy.. don't cry if my trade could have gotten more pips... I am happy with 50 each time... there are pips for you and enough pips for me...

Keep up the good work Tiki!

All though it is nice to see your balance looking healthier it is more rewarding to see you settle in with your TT5 system and some confidence. You always had a wealth of analyzing skills, better than the average trader however in my humble opinion you seemed to lack in consistency and struggled with emotions.

Good to see progress in all areas. Once you get in your groove there will be ups and downs but nothing will stop you!

Curious on your tunnels, i never used vega's tunnels however from reading about them once i think they had a variety of ema's that were tailored to the currency that they traded on. How did you create yours?

Hey Tiki i have read thru all the journal but i think i missed the rules for entry on TT5.. How exactly u decide when to enter?? i mean i saw u have those +/-175,+/-250,+/-300 levels on the 5 ema... but when price hit what area u took the trade?

If price is all the way out there... I pretty much just make the trade... when price is not so far out there... then I look closer and try to find other reasons too like PA or making a trade at close of daily candle... etc... there are not any set rules... the indicator is just a guide to remind me how far away price is from the 5 ema.... the simple idea is that price always goes back to the 5 ma... and I want to find opportune times to take advantage of that... !!!

It is the skyhook indicator from Jedi... but I think you can make the same lines in MT4 when you add a moving average and go to the parameters button...

Yes. finally the emotion part seems more under control... I also know I can analyse ok... but never could translate it into pips... just couldn't find something that worked for me... maybe because of my work schedule or whatever... and also because lets face it... I will never be a master at PA like Raczek is.... I have always believed that there is some easy way to make pips that does not require hours of thinking and analysis or some kind of rocket science.... I always wanted a lazy mans way... a po'boy way to do it... after all... I'm a lazy man !!!

I was thinking to make TT5 SHORT on USD/JPY today... 105.50 to 105.00 BUT before market open price spikes lower already on this pair to 104.92... so this trade idea is off... Price wen to the 62 ema on Oandas three hour charts... it did also on GBP/JPY... a big move already before market open down to the 62 ema.... anyone using Oanda might like to look at this... on many pairs... before market open.. price will go to the 62 ema on many times frames.. !!! These are good trades... when the move is fairly large as like today on GBP/JPY... there are pips to be made even though Oandas spreads are so big... GBP/JPY has moved 200 pips down already... before other brokers have opened...

Sorry, but I hope you are wrong on this one ( I am short G/U). I was also short G/Y but you beat me on that one!
I don't think I trade TT5 like you, couldn't stand the large red pips during the trade for a reward of only 50 pips.

I need my stop losses to know I have protection against 'black swans'. Now where did I put my copy of 'Fooled By Randomness'?

Anyhow, just remember that the price always moves to the 5ema, or else the 5ema moves to the price.

Yes this was probably not a good trade.. somehow I though it seemed price would now go back to 5 ema...

However, I did not trade much on it... yes it is negative right now... but I am down only a little more than 1% on the account.... this is not something to get a heart attach over... I will wait a bit more.... nothing like getting out too soon.... price is now quite a ways aways from the 5.... and will have to come back soon... maybe i don't get my pips... but I might not lose many either...

You might be right on overall down on GBP/JPY... but so often on that pair the retrace on daily is 50 %.... gives a good chnace often to win on that pair.. and I have to admit at this point the I like TT5 best on this pair... !! And as far as only getting 50 pips at a time.... man, it adds up quick... !! I have learned the hard way not to be greedy.... just take a few and move on... there will be times I go for 100 pips on GBP/JPY...

I will also remind you... on both GBP/USD and GBP/JPY there are gaps still to be filled.... !!!
