LOL a race! And we can have another section on this forum for millioniare traders also with our own passwords and everything. Serious though, I think alot of us have come along way since first joining on forexfactory. And we have been lucky to have the quality of people like the ones you mentioned. Take a bow Merlin, James16, Muddbudda, Diallist, Fiji, Beau and a host of others. Without this forum I would have never gotten this far on my own. And actually I owe it all to Beau Diamond who introduced me to this forum Thanks Merlin for running such a great site. Maybe one day we'll all meet up. That would be great experience.

Merlin, why doesn't Beau ever post to the main forum? You're friends with him. Couldn't you talk him into making an appearance at least once a week. There are a lot of folks here who respect and admire him and would love to absorb more of his wisdom. How 'bout it Beau?

Congratulations Diallist! 72% in two months is quite an achievement.

I am currently only making baby steps towards recovery. Hopefully when James16's course is ready I will be able to make quantum leaps.

im not real sure why, ive never asked him. but i will next time i talk to him. another guy it would be nice to see more of in the main forum is Rob Booker. he also hosts his support forums at FF. that guy is friggin hilarious and he knows his shit.

maybe if we lure them in with candy these guys will come visit us once in a while! oh gosh, i sound like my grandma!!

I read your post a couple of days ago Diallist and I thought to myself...that is great and I am very pleased for you.
Your achievement is fantastic and your extremely silly sense of humour is also a source of entertainment!
I just want to congratulate you for this is a very important achievement.
In many ways it is also a message of hope to so many new traders out there who may all start out the way you did with a system that they thought would be a potential money earner but then realise it is more like a few years of apprenticeship in learning how to make a consistent amount of pips.
I also think that without the help of so many dominant contributors like James and FT, Merlin, MB.... that the fx world would be a very harsh place.
I have so learnt so much from all of you.

Quite right, it needs patience. I began trading FX two month ago, I gained 40% in two weeks with as little as 300$, and lost 200% then. there will be many disapointing events but you always think that you are good trader and you are sure that, from 100 cases you can anticipate 70 and if you are losing something you should think that however this is in 30 cases and realize loss. you should not wait until market reverses. This I learnt later after I lost 200%of my margin. I looked with hope that market would reverse. So you must be confident that from 100 deals over 70 will be profitable.

I stumbled upon this thread. Hummm...... I find this inspiring. I'm begining to think this is the moment Dial went from noob-4x trader to fullfledged-4x trader.

DIAL: it looks like this happened 11 months after you joined Forex Factory. I joined in July so it looks like I have until June to tie. I'm on your heals Dial!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
