DislikedHey MPP,
I certainly don't want to detract from this thread in any way but it's very interesting you might see 2.0340 as an entry point in TEB's 200 simple method.
If you look at the low wave of the GBPCHF in the attached chart it's at almost the exact same price you note as an entry using TEB's method - Confluence maybe??
Sorry for the distraction Zoopy.
Thanks
Colin.Ignored
DislikedZoopy,
I'd like to see your colour study info.
I'm continually playing with colours and often think I spend far too much time with that side of things....after all, who cares, the info is still the same isn't it????
Who knows if it makes a difference or not, but when the market is boring like it has been for a little while I'll mess around with this sort of thing rather than over trade - or at least I like to think that's what I doIgnored
DislikedHi Colin
the 2 system are very similar, they both use the waves in the charts to take a trade (teb also has a 200 system)
the difference is line instead of candle and Teb uses the break of the wave, and Zoopy uses the pullback. only here we try to keep things in our head, the idea is to learn to see it. although i expect TEB can just look at his charts and see it also when you get good at something it become second nature - i hope anywayIgnored
DislikedI'll post a few charts on colours. It's not so much which colours I think are the best to use but more about how colours can affect the way you read the chart. When it comes to information, yes it's still the same. However... certain colours can actually make the trader more aggressive in their decisions. It has to do with colour psychology.Ignored
Dislikedwe want calming colours, not happy ones that will lead us to beleive we are super indestructable traders.LOLIgnored
DislikedI might go into more detail with this in a later post but here's an example of how colours could affect your mood when trading. If you have high contrasting colours especially the ones below:
- blue/orangeIgnored
DislikedLOL. The crazy thing about that chart is that it's a line chart. Imagine seeing it in candles/bars. I think I'll post it so you can see the difference.Ignored
DislikedHere's an example of why blue/green isn't the best colour choice lol. Compare this to the blue/orange line chart. The candles themselves create a more visual disturbance which is why I wanted to see whether it was possible to trade just using the line chart.Ignored
Dislikedi'm gonna report you to the mods - infraction - abuse of fellow traders.Ignored
