An inside bar has formed on GBP/CHF. It is not the only one so check your charts.

As you can see, Shi_Trend dot is green and AO is green so we would take this Inside bar long.

Trade stopped out yesterday, but am resetting my order again for today. GBP/CHf has been consolidating for too long. I am expecting a move.

Any updates? Unfortunately the filtering system filtered out a bunch of huge movers last week. Also the SilverTrend red dot on the EURUSD has redrawn at least 6 times over the last 2 weeks. I'm starting to be a bit weary.....

Hey niner....that could be. I use so many entry points that I really didn't notice.

If you go to my other thread in the signature below you will learn how to filter out those false signals from Silver Trend.

For the most part, the Insice Bar Technique will now be covered in this new thread where I will have the whole system I trade eventually on paper.

We have an Inside Bar that has formed on EUR/GBP. Based on the trend indictions, I would take this one long only.

Hi Damonl,

Nice system. I've been following along with great interest.

I see a set-up for IB for today's Sunday PM market open on AUD-USD.
I think opens at (L).9480 and (S).9319.
I think we're looking for a re-tracement to .9229 or even .9152
I'm going to put partial TP there.
To the upside, I think 50% of ATR which is .0106, or .0083.

My thoughts on market direction after a pull-back is to continue North, thanks to the "bullet-proof" USD and it's academy award performance of late.

What does anyone think about this line of thought?

Love your indicator. I am not up on mt4 programming so I was wondering if there is anyway your "ib_nn" indicator can send an alert via SMS text message to my cell phone alerting when an 'inside bar' forms? Can you explain how that can be done, if possible. Thanks.

Though I Do Not Trade Forex And Usally Trade Stocks And Commodities I Have To Request Some Clarifications On This Inside Bar Trading Technique. Your Guidance And Also From Other Senior Member Experts On This Thread Would Be Highly Appreciated:

1. Could This Technique Be Applied Successfully For Trading Stocks And Commodities.

2. Is It Necessary To Have 2osma On The Chart For Trading Only Long Bullish Inside Bar Setups Buys When Above 20 Sma And Taking Only Short Insidebar Setups When Below 20sma.

3. Under What Conditions Can We Take The Inside Bar Setups Against The Slope Of The 20 Sma.

Hi mintul,

your ib indicator works great with alarm
i have a little problem when i point my cursor at the ib,
there is no OHLC reading on the colour ib.
if you have time, can you please look into this.

Possible inside day on the AUDUSD although we still have about 14hrs till the close of the bar.

hi lim, sorry for late reply... anyway no problem with your condition, alarm work with natural inside bar, but color on IB_nn working with filter from neural network so if alarm on but color ib not painting it's mean nn doesn't agree with condition ..
btw i improve some calculation from IB_nn so anyone can adjust suitable setting for user .. (note: less period setting mean less signal)
