9700 is the 38.2 retrace level from top of daily range - lets see how this holds

so far, price has retraced to 61.8 retrace of daily range on close today and held, however it keeps testing it there, a breakdown below that level may signal a range expansion to the downside, all the while avoiding the strong negative reversal signal adding to the case of a tight consoliditation type day. if 150 tick can close at 9702 or above and push up though within the next 50 ticks, the 38.2 range retracement may be the new support of choice.

Cable's decline from 1.9915 has developed into an impulsive 5-wave (Elliott) move and confirms a top is now in place, says JP
Morgan.
Now at 1.97 the bank says 1.9650 should offer very good support so a bounce to 1.9750-1.98 is feasible, but should be used as a selling opportunity.

right now, it's having problem going lower than the 0.50 level, and the interesting part is, if you look at the last 2 bars of 1 hour chart, the low is getting higher and higher in price and if the low of the current bar close at a higher price than the previous low, it will be a good sign that sellers are losing their power and there is a possibility for the price to be pushed higher above 1.9700....

If everything goes fine, we will get to see the bar in 1 hour chart to close above 1.9700 in 2-3 hours time....

Ok, closed at 1.9710 on my chart, now moving up gain, I expect it to go as high as 1.9730 in the next few hours.....

even a corrective waveA or C is composed of an impulse 5 wave move if zoomed in on. I am no elliotician, but you dont have to be a clockmaker to be able to read the time. Symetrically, to make a claim that this quick retracement was a 5 wave move indicative of trend reversal on a large scale is very questionable especially coming out of JP Morgan.

Also we just had a very short term double top coupled with divergence on 150 tick chart although this would normally be taken as a bearish signal, the quickness of the retracement may force rsi into positive reversal mode on immediate short term if we can avoid a close below 9692 - a subsequent turn would then indicate range expansion to the upside.
