Thanks, I'm hoping it plays out. My worry is that this will just move sideways until London open and they'll try pushing it down again. Got my stop in place just incase. At least the swap is positive and even better since it's triple payout wednesday

Additional confluence on your trade is the 150EMA (support)on the 8 hour chart. Sweet.

Jeez that was a tough day... found myself working quite well on the swing trades but perhaps a bit too soon to play the longer moves... definately still learning...

Did James16 first start using the 150/365 EMA's himself or was it adapted by someone else first? I use the 200 EMA as it's interesting watching how price moves around it at times. From what I've seen so far I don't see a huge difference between 150/200 EMA's...

yep i see where youe coming from kitara your right the 4hr could well go down to the support area to gain momentum for a bigger push up. if you look at the daily theres a very nice BUOVB so I might use the pin if it forms to get a better entry.. then if it pushes through the resistance above in the form of the MAs this puppy could well fly...

hi Jarroo yes im in that one took it on the 4hr pinbar aswell, also short on cable will only hold for today or just before NFP.

LOL, the GBP/CHF did fly up didn't it It came down but looks like it may be using the old resistance as a support now?

Good job on the Aus/Usd woolley. I deleted some of my postings last night because I read in the PF that it's getting too journal like. Sorry guys.
I am still going to post good PA setups for others to comment on though. I am guilty of being over enthusiastic I guess. But as James16 would say, this is simple guys and it works. My account has grown because of it and keeps growing.

Hi Kitara yep it did go up was a bit hesitent because all the swissy pairs fly when they take off. still riding cable down from the 4hr pin bar.. I think its good to post our trades lets the people who dont post see what were trying to learn here. signed up in the james16 site today WOW lotta info dont want to get to carried away still keeping it simple for now.

I learn A LOT by reading your live trades in this thread.

I would love to see everyone continue to post their thoughts (journal like or not).

What do they mean to "journal like"? You read in the PF? Do you mean the James16 website?

Journal type posts go something like "I entered at 2.000" and that's it.

I'm glad you signed up Woolley. I haven't been a member of their website group very long and I've just gotten through most of the videos and text lessons. So last night before I went to bed, I decided to check around in their journals to see if anyone had similar charts or entries like mine from yesterday. I saw one comment about the public forum turning into a journal, and I was like oh no! That's me! It didn't even dawn on me that I could be doing that. So I do apologize.
I've lurked on FF for a very long time now and only just recently registered so I could post. I'm already breaking the rules, LOL. They're right, I may have been jounaling, but I am a true fan of James16 teachings. Reading the beginning of this thead many many months ago and practicing with a demo as suggested has paid off. The income I've made from my daily system has given me enough to treat this as a business like James16 suggests and I now do PA trades with a live account.
If nothing else, people reading this can see one more success story. This does work. I hope everyone finds success with their trading whether it be for pizza money or for a living.
I look forward to next week. Thursday nights I volunteer and I will probably just wait for NFP to be over before entering in any more trades now.

I second that Jarroo keep posting away Kit, heres one im keeping an eye on for my next possible trade usdchf managed to break through the resistance area after three atemps (red line). if you go down to the 4hr theres a pb forming im thinking this will take it back down to the now support area to gather some more momentum to trade back up to the 61.8 fib level and if it breaches that theres a good few pips to be had, but will wait and see what happens over the next few hours.

I am looking into trading the 4 hour timeframe and wanted to share with you a chart I just had a look at. These pins might not be perfect setups but it shows even more how effective PA is. I did not take any of these because I was either too picky or missed them but just seeing the potential returns is stunning.

I'm not a member of the private forum so I can't speak for those there or even read the context of what Kitara read, but my guess is that it's simply a comment that there are a lot of posts on people's personal trades and ideas rather than the instructional-type posts that started the thread. There's nothing wrong with a post showing potential setups, but the instructional value seems to be less and less which makes it more like reading various trader's thoughts or trading journals. The thread started out with posts showing setups and comments around those setups to show why they were good (or bad) and how to best enter and exit them. James did a great job of showing the setups using historical charts which helped show the setups that worked and those that didn't. Lately we've been seeing more postings with numbers and entry points and less instruction/comment about PA and PPZs, so it's more like a journal than a PA instruction/information thread.

Also, I would guess that the comment in the private forum was not a comment on a single member but rather just the general atmosphere of this thread. I wouldn't take it personally, Kitara.

Hey Creeper pinbars are a very useful piece of kit I believe james said they are better played when the confluence with MAs fibs ect heres one example thats jumped right out at me its the eurusd 4hr theres a pin forming right on the ema 365 wich is a very important MA. if this bar closes as a pin in 15 mins il be going long with first tp at the 23.6 fib level then it might even go up to the 38.2 level. my stop loss will be just under the pin about 50 pips away with the potential of gaining 100 to 200 pips so the risk reward ratio is good enough for me to take the trade.

hate to rain on your parade but look at todays and yesterdays daily bars, they form a dbhlc, very bearish and we are on a strong downtrend correction whatever....your pin is in a good position with the 365 and all but its got a very sad little tiny tail Im afraid...just be careful with this one, it may work fine but look at the daily! take care, Raz
