Been away all day so missed some nice moves, hence the late reply.

I like 4h chart for making HH, HL etc and 1h as the lowest. I see it as "my" type of MA. It's only to remind me of currently trend, nothing more.

MA = Moving average.

2. It really depend on what setup I see. Normally, I always plan for either way, so it's not an too big issue. But playing along with the trend is normally a winner And consulting with higher timeframes is helpful too.

Hi, Aussie is making HH on daily but Head and shoulders on 4 hour if there is a break of .9290 may be a good trade? on the up side 30 min break of triangle formation what do you guys think.

Example of how correlation can be used between different TF;

30m and 1h usually hold hands. Looking at 4h chart we clearly see that price have been channeling since 24.04. Being intra-day trader, we consider that price have made LH and LL since the same date.

So my question to you is what side of this pair do you want to be if you're trading intra-day ? If the option for the opposite happens where would you consider taking a trade on it ? Where would your first target/entries/stop losses be, both ways ?

This exercise makes you focus more on WHAT to do when price comes to your target rather than trying to predict where price is going, which is damn hard, IMO. If you also see that the probability for price to go down instead of up, you might allow yourself to favor downside without excluding upside.

Don't take this for being the answer or anything but only a way to look for potential trades.

Glad to hear you have been able to benefit from this thread.

I'm sorry for not being able to contribute with charts lately.

Here is one potential trade I'm looking at right now. If we head above 205.65 area I see the probability for price to hit 206.50 area. If we head below 204.80 I see 204 area as a fair target. Those targets is based on the currently flag(pole) on 30m chart. 206.50 also confluence with TL on 4h chart and 204 is red TL on 4h chart.

Lol. There is some "masters" here at FF but I'm faaar away from considering myself near that "title" and this should not be an disappointment

Anyway, here is what I see on E/J. Strong yen seems to be moving both G/J and E/J right now. Almost same setup as G/J.

I don't see how your lower TL fits in on 30m, but I guess it's from 4h ?

Edit: Posted wrong flag-target.

Price bounced of 205.65 on G/J forming a double top on 1h if price don't head above it within 1h close in 30 minutes.
