It seems like Gbp/jpy is already heading down passing through 204.51 now.

Hey Guys,

This is a heavy news day....lots of news going in every direction...hard to get an idea of where everything is going

but heres a trade, tight stoploss because of market volatility

Pending order cancelled on GBP/JPY over shot on trade entry, if you got in great, those in group did

GBP/USD Stopped out -48 pips

Just a reminder...

No Trades for right now....too many news releases will look towards the end of New York to enter a trade after the FOMC announcement.

As for ADP Non Farm Payrolll....I strongly feel that both of these are going to be bad for the dollar, not necessarily in what the actual figures are but more how the market reacts to it.

U/J is rising now to line up with the Major resistance area at 104.80 pre - news. If it breaks that level it will make way for a bullish trend short term. This isn't that likely as the 105.00 level was held by the 104.80 figure. Indicating the market did not want it near 105 to even be considered for breaking the number.

No trades for me today in regards to the news....but my biases are as follows for New York

GBP/USD buys
EUR/USD buys
USD/JPY sells
GBP/JPY sells

For those that took this risky trade it was stopped out at 207.20 -135 pips

Those in the group were able to balance out this loss with a U/J short that hit its target at 103.85 +80 pips

But today was very risky trading....low $$ per pip should have been used regardless

Setting a pending order because I want possible draw down to be kept small.

Should have no problem hitting entry, but its possible for it to not.

Holiday today, so market may act strangely

Hope that some of you were able to benefit from my bias for the news.....good luck with your trades....I will look for direction of NFP tomorrow during london or maybe in the asian session.

Have come close to the goal.. took the short this early AM.. been taking profits in sections... now am major profit at this point, with one last segment of the trade short open. will be looking to close NY open time somewhere.

Pearsonfx, although a day later, the direction of g/j still performed closely as you called it... A little patience would have worked well here. What was your analysis in making a short call on g/j yesterday? The reason I ask is because I still find merit in your thinking as to where g/j was heading. Throw us a bone here....
