just numbers that are reported. we don't know manipulation or not. that's why, it's better sideline during news. and never, never put PO before news. The spike might hurt u BIG time.

Forget about number speculation, the market can easily trap us in many other ways, including rumour, news and technical setup/reading, and even pre-news spikes.

This is not a popularity contest and everytime someone has something to say even though it is right you shut them up by putting them in you ignore list. The other point if this thread is to help people and educational and not for marketing, you contradicted yourself by marketing your cafe and asking people to become you business partners. This is my last post and there is nothing useful for me here. So thanks for putting me in the ignore list.

there's no easy way. no shortcut. learning daily, get info as much as possible and spend time on the chart are the keys. either it is elliott wave, fibo or others, u can choose ur own winning system. no system is 100 % fool proof. it will take time to be successful in this industry.

the BEST place is this thread. Everyday is a learning process here.

I once read in a Forex book that says: "HOPE is very powerful in religion but will be out of place in Forex world".

Having said that, personally, I strongly think we should have FAITH.

Apparently, this is the reason why US rose last night (and caused me to loss) - Well, we still need to read about the fundamental.

San Francisco, April 24. The stock market is extending gains this afternoon, taking the DJIA up 165 pts. Dealers note anecdotal reports that most earnings on the S&P so far have beat expectations to the topside, helping to lift the USD. USD/JPY remains bid at 104.42 with pullbacks limited to only 104.28 since the highs of 104.54 were traded and stops remain above 104.66-70. Fuelling the bullish view is talk that central banks have been strong EUR sellers after being buyers much of last week and banks" models have sold the EUR today on the moves, though cutting existing longs, not yet going short. Still, the mood remains USD bullish. US bond yield gains have stalled but a significant trend change has been seen this week on yields, also supporting the USD. Offers remain ahead of 105.00 with stops above.

Sydney, April 25: The GBP/USD only lost a small amount of ground against the USD yesterday, as heavy short GBP positions on the crosses were covered led by a large slide in the EUR/GBP. The GBP gained 1.75% against the CHF, 1% against the EUR and around 0.50% against the JPY. The only currencies the GBP lost ground against were the CAD (0.6%) and the USD (0.3%).
The relative GBP strength was in part derived from better than expected UK Retail Sales data, but was mostly due to the fact that the market was extremely long EUR/GBP. The dovish shift in ECB expectations after German IFO started a mini-run on the EUR. The GBP/USD has formed support at 1.9685/90 and a break below 1.9685 targets key support formed at the double-bottom at 1.9600. The GBP/USD trades 1.9725/30. [email protected]

Sydney, April 25: Today"s UK Times states that controversy has emerged in the wake of the official UK Retail Sales data released yesterday that came in much better than expected and showed a rise of 2% in the volume of goods sold in the first quarter. The Times says that the jump in first-quarter sales, up 5.6 per cent from a year earlier, was sharply at odds with almost every other barometer of retail activity, and retailer"s own reports that trading is blighted by the credit squeeze and house price slump."

The report goes on to say that City economists lined up with the BRC, and senior retailers to question the figures from the ONS. Economists sounded warnings that the Bank of England would be left puzzled and crucial decisions over interest rates hampered by the official data. Economists said that the official numbers may have been unduly flattered by the difficult process of seasonal adjustment, which is notoriously difficult around Easter. -- [email protected]

Cut Losses is part of the game. Some cut losses @ -50, some @ -100. It's all about your system. Good Money Management is good asset in this industry.

Please understand that we are trading against the big boys, i.e. the banks, fund group, asset mgmt group, etc. They can always turn the tide against us. Little good news can be BIG pips in forex.

And, we have to have BELIEVE we will be success.

100% agree bro.... If you're not willing to sacrifice your time to do this it will be better you keep your money in ASB or whatever scheme provided by banks....Trust me it will be safer....

What is about popularity contest? This thread was nothing before... no one knows about it. Mainly me talking alone in here. However... I just keep on posting and posting until it attract more and more viewers.... then only more and more members contributing valuable information in here. Popularity is needed to attract more members so that more input and active discussion can take place.

What is so special about this thread? Can you find any other thread is doing active regular GATHERING? Where members can meet each other and discuss LIVE... trading live together. I did organized many GATHERING before for this thread's members. We did at my house... member's house... and at any Cafe' around KL. We even got members form outside Malaysia joined the Gathering.

From there I got an Idea to make a proper place for GATHERING. Since my wife was opening a CAFE'... it would be "STUPID" for me to organize a GATHERING at others Cafe'... wouldn't I?

Out of all GATHERING I organized... did I ever asked for any fees or payment? I got not a single cent from it.

Now I got a better Idea... having experienced opening a normal Cafe'.... I wanna Open a TRADING Cafe'... FULL CONCEPT of TRADING needs. It'll be a "hub" or gathering point for traders. Everything is ready... Business Plan... Location... all sort of suppliers and contractors that I know from opening the 1st Cafe.... Concept... Layout... Employees... etc. However, the budget is BIG and I need business partners.
Yes... it is some sort of marketing... but do I ever take a single cent out of your pocket? Am I SCAMMING anyone?

Ask all traders here... Who don't like the idea of Trading Cafe? I bet everyone like it... because it gonna be like a Library or information center to know more about Forex. Members gather there and sharing LIVE information. Reading is one thing but hearing LIVE explanation and Experiences stories is even better.

Guys... SERIOUSLY... am I doing a bad thing in here? Am I not helping enough?

Personally I find Mr. Malaysia A.K.A. Encik Samsul friendly and helpful.

I do not understand why people like you and Sharon want to pick on him.

We, Malaysian, are known for our hospitality and are friendly people, but if you do not like us (be it our behavour, culture or habit), then there are other forum/thread/place you could go, nobody forces you to stay on.

I also do not understand why some people do not come here to share or to encourage but choose to use word as a weapon to poison this thread. Please refrain from doing so. We have moderators in this Forum, anything you do not like you can report to the moderator, and we do not need these people to "police" us!

Let's move on and trade instead!
