How do you apply an ea to an order placed manually.

I usually have the ea scan through the open orders each time to confirm that an order is open. I just set a for loop to scan through and then read the OrderSymbol and compare it to the current Symbol. If there is a match then I exit the loop and continue.

Loop search for order(s) that has no Magic Number || Order Comment. Manual order usually doesn't have any of those.

Make sure, if you run other EA in same account, your other EA place Magic Number/Comment on its orders.

Another technique is to take advantage of the init() call you get whenever you update the parameters in an EA. You could put the ticket number in a parameter and then add that ticket to whatever pool of controlled orders your EA might have.
