I think it's easier just to look in his excell results , and there are exact dates and hours of trades. Just back on your charts to this time and you can see the entry points. Of course without target - resistances and supports

You can not load them because they are EA. You must put them in Expert file of your MT4. Simple copy them there. I personally use signal trend follower+snapshot (you can find it in attachment list on the right upper corner of this thread) but I DO NOT enter on every signal that this EA gives. I am not good yet as Deforexit is.

hello everybody, nice to meet you all ! i have some questions on timing issues, may I know whether you will take all signals no matter it's before any event like NFP ? or any other significant events? and do you close your positions before the weekend ? is the gap high low on monday morning significant for the performance ? for the trading session, Wicker suggests us to trade in US and EU session so we do not buy even there is signal in non US & non EU session ? but we do sell when we reached our target right..what about the bank holidays on either US or EU ? stop trading as well ? thank you !

First let me explain the lot size calculation.
TOtal Lot size = 0.01 X iTradeFactor X noOfSmallLot.

so if you want to open 4 lot each of 10,000 standard lot/ 1000 mini lot.

iTradeFactor = 0.01 X 100 X 4.
where iTradeFactor = 100
noOfSmallLot = 4

Now about iTPIncrement.

If your noOfSmallLot is more than 1 then iTPIncrement play a significant role to close some of the lot early and take incremental profit and also moving your stop loss to BE.

so e.g. - iTPIncrement = 40, noOfSmallLot=4, iTradeFactor=100
You went long a lets say 201.00..
At price 201.40, your first lot will be closed and s/l will move to BE.

at price 201.80 your second lot will be closed.

at price 202.20 your third lot will be closed.
Fourth lot will run forever, until you closed it manually or it gets the opposite signal.

Now there is one more good feature in this EA called - Pipstrail, It is bit similar to trail stop not completely.. so read it carefully.
so e.g. - iTPIncrement = 40, noOfSmallLot=4, iTradeFactor=100 pipstrail=35

You went long a lets say 201.00..
At price 201.40, your first lot will be closed and s/l will move to BE.

at price 201.80 your second lot will be closed. ( If your profit between 50 to 100 pips) the s/l will be BE.

at price 202.20 your third lot will be closed. ( If your profit between 100to 150pips) the s/l will be openprice + 35 ( pipstrail).
Fourth lot will run forever, until you closed it manually or it gets the opposite signal.
if your profit between 150 to 200 pips then s/l will be
openprice + 2 *pipstrail = 70

from 200 to 250
s/l will be openprice+ 3 * pipstrail..

thats it .. so now you have ea and the rules.. have fun and play

I have another question :
in your example, in fact, we keep 35 pips at every advance of 50 pips in our favor, starting at 100 pips.

but are the values of 50 and 100 are hardcoded in your EA or related to iTradeFactor (=100 in your example) or something else?

Got it. Thanks! I'm new to MT4 too, will try the EA immediately. The TrendFollowSignal indicator doesn't look nice to me as quite some wrong signals were found and I'll try the trend follower_snapshot EA. Don't worry, I'll see how it works.

2 more indy from me. I think they may be useful. Its Guppy but looks like histogram. One for single timeframe and one multitimeframe. So we can always see Guppy direction on current timeframe or any other without switching screen.

Indeed, both indy are very useful. Thank you for the thoughtful creation! In fact, they are valuable by themselves. Wonder if you would kindly add an alert feature to it whenever an up/down trend begins and ends? It would be an invaluable tool to also save time and efford as well. Thank you again!

I was looking for advice about trading (sorry if this is not the place to ask....). I saw that you followed the Imran/simple scalp method, also ozfx, and this one as well (trend follower)? I like these as well and was wondering if you could advise a new trader? Perhaps if this forum not appropriate you could send me message/email?

Hi Master Wicker, nice to meet you! Do you mean that my questions asked about timing issues with holiday gap, US & EU trading sessions and economic indicators release are irrelevant to the strategy ? becoz you will take the signal, say, on friday night, or right before the releases? Thank you!

You should of course take economic news, holidays and all the other common forex knowledge into account. Doing this, you will avoid many failed trades. What I'm saying is that you should stop adding "NEW" and "BETTER" technical indicators. We have enough of them, its just a matter of aligning them all together properly.

Hi Wicker and others, may I know what should I do for the case if I get in by sell entry signal but the broker widen their spread a lot when I am ready to get out of market by exit signal ? Should I pay the big spread to get out as soon as I am break even or what ? Does it usually happen especially in news release period ? Thank you !

MACDoug, that is perfectly fine.
The system is graeat indeed, thank you for sharing it on the forum. I use it in its original setting as my trigger, on 5min as it has been designed. However I use other timeframes like 4hr and daily to get the perspective on the scale of larger degree, so at least I know when I travell in the direction indicated on a larger timeframe or against it.
