In at 1.5820 stop loss 1.5770

This may be a bit premature but I'm thinking about Exits now. Obviously 5850 is a good candidate and would give me a very reasonable 50 points. Anyone else with a long position planning a fixed exit outside of trailing stops?

I don't think we're gona go past 1.5900 much, and retrace will follow, so entering at 1.5800+ is small potential of good risk to reward.
I have sell order set at 1.5890, I don't think world is gona let euro go anymore north anytime soon, so no break out on this comming triple top. Anyway, I dont expect much movement.. so I'm going to bed and expecting market to stay where it is untill I wake up. Maybe I'll see something different in the morning.

I hope we are correct as I'm in for 2 lot @ 5820. Don't ask why 5820 or 5720 from previous longs......it just happens that way. Now let see what happens.

Hi all,
well hopefully i will be a new jacko turtle by the end of the week or before, depending on banks, I cant wait to start recieving tuition from jacko, I am looking forward to growing as a trader with his guidence.
I was wondering how many people from Australia have become part of any of jacko's groups???
Anyway, I look forward to reading all the great post's here and hopefully not to far away i will have something to contribute myself.

I too see 5900 as strong resistance for now, but nothing is 100% in this business. What you have to do, is trade what you feel is correct for you & if taking profits is it, then so be it. My stop is in place & NO CERTAIN TP LEVEL SET @ THIS TIME. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU.

Just be sure you money management is in place, we are in an area of unknowns at this point especially with the G7 making noise about bolstering the dollar.

I'm still long from 5706 with 100TSL. I realize 100 is not in the rules, but Ithink everyone is seeing too much volatility to use 50 at this time. Price came within 9 pips of my stop loss earlier but i will stay with it until stop takes me out. at this moment price is trying to push through 5850. I still think 6000 is possible. Why, because like jacko said, big traders love big round numbers for no other reason but to take it out. But who knows where it will end up, we are just speculating. I remember reading a market can never be too overbought to go higher or too oversold to go lower. Plan the trade and trade the plan.

As you can see from my signature I'm from Australia. Lightning Ridge in NSW, what about yourself?

Definitely a good decision to join up. I am about a month in right now and couldn't be happier. Only made the one trade using Jacko's methods so far for good pips. (I did make a Counter Trend trade for a big loss but....). It's funny, since I started in the group I have become much mor patient in taking trades. I have missed a number of good entries but it hasn't fazed me. Before I would have been kicking myself. Before I was definitely gambling and overtrading.

I see an interesting line here joining 3 bars on 30M chart. Not sure what it means but thought I'd attach it here. If I can get this to work...

Normally it meant there a breakout of the resistance line is about to form do a 5 pip above the resistance line and let the market run you in. Actually I just learn something today. Before London open plot your resistance and support line on the 30m chart and place your order above or below that trendline and let the market bring you in. Will implement this idea tml or maybe before New York open tonight

So you think a good entry would be 5 pips above this line. So around the 5880 level.

I like your idea of placing orders where you think the market will move to. Can you please post your thoughts around entry and exit for these.
