I was wondering where the bollinger band indicator from yellow to green is located so i can track it in metatrader when i am trading.

Hi eaglestar !

I use MA-RSI indicator overlapped at usual bollinger band. MA-RSI is a indi which plot a MA (you can set it as ema or sma) and it can plot 2 colors when RSI is up/below a given level. I only superposed it at middle BB as it is
pretty looking (Middle BB is a simple 20 MA)

Search for any post above, I attached ma-rsi indi

Hi i don't have experience setting up a filter like yours. How do you do it? i added the indicator but it is not gold/green like yours. Thanks for all your help.

Condra indicators work great, very smart man.... Now for the question on lispa yes I have used it, But I can not give advice on it as I am new to using his Lispa2. i have not had the chance to use this one of his a lot yet.

THe only way to do this is to learn the pairs that u choose to trade ( I suggest newer traders trade UsdJpy, EurUsd), learn the mkt and know the mkt & u can avoid the false signal trades. If someone could build a system that never gave false signals it would be the perfect system which everyone would automatically be rich from that system. But lets get real and never rely on that happening cause it wont. Also remember indicators can only "indicate" what the mkt may do.

Hi everyone, have read whole thread, as it has gotten more complex it's kind of scared me off. Was wonderfing is anyone trading 4 safe setups only that are in the beginning of the PDF? If so how are you doing? Also, can those set ups be used on longer time frames? Thanks for a great thread and especially to Imran for your amazing generosity and patience.

Hey Jim,

I was in your situation when i first read the whole strategy - i didnt understand half of it but now , i tell you its a superb strategy... i have been using it for the last few weeks & it works superbly...

read it over & over again.. - try & setup the files & back test it.. ask if you don't understand something.. lot of ppl to help..

u might find it hard to understand the lag & lag2 - especially lag 2 coz i had lot of trouble getting it install on my mt4 but finally i figured it out...
so try .. & post qs.

it is definetely a great system..

Hi, I'm completely new to posting here, but started reading this thread around a week ago, and have applied it very successfully so far, having achieved 805 pips of profit in three-and-a-half days trading last week, over 19 trades, all winners and no losses so far.

The purpose of the post is mainly to thank imran for his methodology and his extreme generosity in sharing his knowledge and helping so many traders.

I will participate more fully in this thread when I have read it all, I'm still only half way through it, thanks to the distraction of profitable trading during the day!

i totoally agree with you mate. I've had some real good profits recently using this strategy.... have been trading this on aud/usd & gbp/jpy...

need to test it other ccy too...

Trading primarily on a 5 minute timeframe (with confirmation from the 15 minute chart that I am not going against a move there), my trade list so far has included:

AUDJPY
EURCAD
EURCHF
EURGBP
EURJPY
GBPJPY
GBPUSD
GPBJPY
USDCAD
USDCHF
USDJPY

Interesting, because that was more pairs than I remember trading. I scan 12 pairs constantly, the only one of the 12 I haven't yet traded is GBPCHF, which has a higher spread.

I will try to post some charts, although I'm back in my day job today so will probably be tomorrow.

I'm still only about 60% of the way through this thread, but there seems to have been numerous failed attempts to code an EA. Imran himself never seemed very keen on the idea.

I think the problem with an EA is that there is an element of intuition involved e.g. if the lags and stochastics both showed a buy, but the price is only 10 pips below the daily pivot, and the weekly pivot wasn't far above as well, it would be as well to stand aside. I think combining support and resistance with multiple indicator crossovers is very difficult to automate.
