hehe..let make this simple .. let say in the world there are only 3 currency.. Euro, GBp and USd..

People are buying Euro like hell and selling their USd..

So, Euro gaining strenght and USd weaken coz people selling it. So E/U up.

What happened to G/U??

Also Up la although nobody buy gbp..all because usd weakened just now because mass selling done by people that hold them just now to buy euro.

Not to forget Euro/Gbp also up. simple math.

How do you explain when Fiber is going UP but CABLE is Falling down? Look at the chart now.

Nice one Therefore Selling of the Pound also take place... that's why it move to that direction. Cable don't just shoot UP when nobody Buy it... and Cable don't just fall down if nobody Sell it. If it is a simple math... why Cable don't follow Fiber Got it?

I just don't understand When we Short Cable... meaning we are Selling Pound and Buy USD... not whatever currency.

Anyway... beleive what ever you wanna beleive... and I just stick to my understanding. Peace

Any amount or numbers that we see on the screen is just a 'nisbah'.

Real time figure now E/U = 1.5810

while U/J=101.84 , so E/J = E/U x U/J

= 161.04 as we see in the screen now.

So, when u buy E/U, yes u are buying Euro and sell USd. and it looks like euro gaining strength and usd weaken.. but what if at the same time arinforex, savant, and 5 more people buy U/J which is buying usd selling yen. we still see E/U going down.

sorry if this post just disturbing others anylisis... i just want remember this post if i success in this industry....

my homework today...

just settle my work..... n see my PO 202.30 sl 203.30 tp 200.00 in already on -30 pip...

around 9pm malaysia time my wife said our baby's pampers out of stock n have to go shopping with is 'GIANT' close around 10pm....

i just place the sl to BE (around 40 on green).. shut up the comp n make it as faster as we can since our uncle have speak on 9.30pm..

around 11pm open the comp... i see this !! i miss another pip again today... hope it not be on my real acct...

Where those rate / "nisbah" derived from? It's a SUPPLY and DEMAND basic. More demand ... price becoming expensive and vise versa.

If you think the British economy will continue to do better than the United States in terms of economic growth, you would execute a BUY GBP/USD order. By doing so you have bought pounds in the expectation that they will rise versus the US dollar.
If you believe the British's economy is slowing while the United State's economy remains strong like bull, you would execute a SELL GBP/USD order. By doing so you have sold pounds in the expectation that they will depreciate against the US dollar.

Solid buying of EURGBP of course affects the pound as a cross-traded currnecy, and depending on the volumes in GBPUSD, could cause a drop. but it also depends on the USD bid offers in GBPUSD.

Whatever, we are retail traders, but not MM GL GT
