DislikedWhen I say look at Macroeconomics, try to look at the bigger picture other than the value of the pound, by cutting rates you are only increasing inflation, right now the industrial data does not show UK is having that bad economic crisis, the sector that is hit hard is their housing sector. By cutting rates too fast you are only running out of bullets to solve the recession problem and the inflation problem. As for Canada, they dont have an inflation problem neither do they have a recession problem and their economy is doing well but they still cut rates because they are being proactive like they did in 2001, so that they will never have a recession problem. USA should have been more proactive in cutting rates earlier, they saw the housing bubble coming but too late too react as a result we have a problem now.Ignored
