Since the success of opening my 1st Cafe. I am planning to open up a new cafe. This time even bigger and with FULL concept specialized for Forex and Stocks Traders. to capitalise on Gbp weaking, i think we should long EU/Gbp.

G/U,Gbp/chf,Gbp/Jpy we can't really make money on Gbp weakening coz

usd,chf,jpy also looks lethargic.

22:32 EUR/USD: Continues To Consolidate As Factors Offset Sydney, April 8: The EUR/USD is opening Asia around the 1.5700 level that has been a pivot point in recent trading sessions. The EUR/USD received support during the European session from good sovereign interest to buy below 1.5630 and decent demand for the EUR against the CHF, JPY and GBP after better than expected EZ data. The EUR/USD traded all the way back to 1.5735/40 before comments from EZ officials indicated that there will be discussions about the possibility of intervention at the upcoming G7 meeting.
Traders expect the consolidation to continue ahead of the ECB meeting on Thursday followed by the G7 Meeting starting on Friday. The EUR/USD trades 1.5706/11.

00:17 EUR/USD: Stops Triggered Above 1.5735 Sydney, April 08: Stops in the EUR/USD have been triggered above yesterday"s 1.5735 high with model funds the main buyers. The EUR/USD has continued to surge with more stops above 1.5780 also getting mowed down. The EUR/USD has traded as high as 1.5787, which is the April 1 high and next level of resistance. There is talk of more stops above 1.5810. The EUR/USD trades 1.5775/80.

Strategy:[email protected] Choppy consolidation continues within the broad 1.5895/1.5510 range, which is at the end of it"s second week. The price action leaves the primary trend up, backed by rising weekly studies, but the daily and hourly studiues showing mixed signals at mid levels. We look to trade inside the range on extreme levels in the hourlies.

01:05 EUR/USD: Settles After Curious Move Higher Sydney, April 08: The EUR/USD has eased back from 1.5790 after racing up close to a big figure. Traders are scratching their heads as to what was the catalyst for the unusually aggressive move higher. Some point to comments made by ex Fed Chairman Greenspan to the effect that the current credit crisis is the worst in over half a century. Others say that it was due to comments made by the ECB"s Papademos who reportedly said that the message regarding FX at the upcoming G7 was unlikely to change. It is unlikely that either of those reports had anything to do with the EUR/USD surge higher, as Greenspan was stating the obvious and Papademos already made those exact comments on Saturday. Traders feel that the likely reason for the move higher was a combination of model fund and option related demand along with a large amount of topside stops from a market that was running short. The EUR/USD trades 1.5773/78.

Hit SL at 1 pip on the green. Such waste of time coz' I carry the Short from yesterday. That surge on Fiber dragging Cable up as well and hit my SL. I still lose because of the negative swap

I STOPPED... reassess the situation... then decided to SELL FROM BOUNCE. Didn't quiet get the expensive price to SELL but at least on the green already now. SL on BE soon . Still sticking with the "SELL THE RATE CUT RUMOR".

I am expecting bad data from UK today. With the worsening past data... could be worse than expected. I could be wrong... nothing certain yet. Could be a surprise of better than expected data. However, I am being influence by the BEAR until the actual Interest Rate Announcement this Thursday. The only Order I am gonna make for Pound Sterling is SELL.

This week is going to be an interesting one as investors position themselves for the upcoming Bank of England (BOE) and European Central Bank (ECB) interest-rate announcements. Consensus numbers show that most analysts believe the BOE will cut rates and the ECB will leave rates unchanged. This should put some bearish pressure on the GBP/USD (especially as the U.S. markets seem to be gaining some stability) while giving the EUR/USD some room to move higher.
