Zack it broke 204.59 depending on what candel I really can't see this falling the move was to strong............

if the nfp is better, wont it take GBP/JPY higher ?

well, I have been following the discussion "it's going up", "it's going down" somewhat bemused - I think there is only one way to settle it, and that is in the market.
If anyone believes strongly it's going to go up, then excellent, put a trade on it and then when the movement ends you can say what good money you made.
Just my simple mind's way of seeing things...

This whole week U/J has been showing severe dollar strength. 103.44 was a key level for U/J to reach to show us more upside to 108 or higher. Now early in the week U/J started to form a Head and Shoulders pattern.....but low and behold it failed. Surprised? Im not. U/J climbed higher, formed one more peak, and went down again....this peak would be the first real shoulder. This gave U/J the look of an uptrend channel. well when that channel was broken, U/J reached a new top at 102.93, just shy of 103.00 and quite a bit underneath the required 103.44. Well GBP news came out and it was extraordinarily weak...surprised? I wasn't, who else saw the 70 pip sudden drop before the news came out. well 4 hours later US news came out...it was positive...surprised? Im not, dollar was showing strength...but what happened then, U/J fell. and Eur/usd and gbp/usd rose....doesn't that seem a little weird to you?
Well since then Oil has been on the rise...Euro has been on the rise...and gbp/usd has been following euro.....hmmm I remember the last time euro was on the rise with oil, oh thats right, it was when the dollar almost neglected to exist.
Well coming down to it all...U/J if dollar is so strong and G/J is expected to rise...wouldn't you want to see U/J at the top of its trend rather than G/U...I mean it has been the dollar driving this whole move north....
Well having said all that, I think you will see the news tomorrow come out positive. But the market had already accounted for it, the dollar is done for the time being....
Of course this is just my opinion, and I might be full of crap too....the only way to know for sure is in 3 hours when the news is released.
