Anyhoo, as far as the GJ is concerned, yes I have a very aggressive cut off. If buy trades aren't triggered before around 1:10 am MST (mountain standard time) then it's a no trade.

I've already been in and out with profits tonight and that's not unusual for the GJ. It can fire off a big near the front of the asian session. I wait until the open of the euro/uk sessions and then shut it down if it hasn't triggered. I will also kill a live trade that extends beyond the "light blue box" range.

However my rules aren't perfect. I missed a trade during the US session 2 days ago because of my filters, but then again, you can't catch every move...
would you please sharing the indicators and templates you use? could you give the example trade with chart using your system?

i am trying to use your system after reading the very interesting thread.

can this system be used more then once in a day? like if there are moves which hit a few times the entry points would it be wise to use them again or only once at the start of the day?

I guess that noone will like this system, since I'm risking my account for a daily 5 to 10 pips only, but at the end I got my money in my pocket again
I'm a pip collector so I'm trying to do any system to gain pips even if it is risky and nonsense, no profit without risk

My orders for Monday are:
Buy entry order @ 1.9842 TP 1.9847 X 5 lots
Sell entry order @ 1.9759 TP 1.9754 X 5 lots
Stoploss is at your choice

hi everyone, This is my first time post in this thread. This system only work once time in a day, when London open. just watch out about Big Ben when you use this strategy..

I'm checking it currently. lasty two months AUD: 112 and 142 pips
last month GBP: 115 pips

I stopped using this system since long time, but sometimes I use it with GBP/JPY which brings better results, I used this system before with GBP/USD, GBP/JPY, EUR/USD and EUR/JPY.
GBP/JPY brought better results than GBP/USD, but EUR/USD and EUR/JPY brought bad results.

It brought better results with GBP/JPY
Yes I checked the 95pips but I don't use it
You can check also the weekly breakout system for GBP/JPY by nomask, it seems good.

Hello, my name is Dachel and here is my system, I really like yours but maybe if we could combine our systems.........

well anyway...here's mine

OK here's the deal. The start point is the daily chart and is quite easy to understand cause does not require any indicators so far but could be considered if somebody want to add something to this "strategy".
As I said we take the daily chart and any currency pair I tried so far with GBP/JPY but should work with any. Take the first candle and if close bullish then entry for a long position (1 lot) with no limit and no stops coz you will wait for that candle to close and then close the position. If that candle close bullish again you go long again (1 lot) and so on until a candle close bearish, when it does entry short with the doubles of lots (2 lots)of the last trade and if you lose that one too repeat and double the lots (4 lots) until you win.
This could sound scary and include a lot of risk, I'm still trying to fix the risk but I can tell that I analize the first four months of 2007 and here are the results:
January: +1080 pips
February: +865 pips
April: +1500 pips
May: -45 pips
If anyone want to add something please feel free to do it coz This looks good but needs improvements.
