smjones,

The balance point concept as Andrews mentioned them is only in my private papers(yes, I was a student). But commercially, you can try a couple of books from the mid 80's by JD Hamon.

Bunjow,

I am not offened, you spoke like you know something you do not, don't care if you read what is available on a few sites or not. I can assure you the notes from the course are much more extensive. By the way, I don't need luck to trade.

littlejohnson,

If you think I am speaking for Andrews, you are mistaken. But from the level of your posts and what you claim to be right and wrong, you too should not speak about that which you know nothing about. JustCatalin was doing just fine posting what he had learned before posts like yours a few pages ago.

When I saw your chart I got this feeling I have seen it before (old chart posted). Although I draw my lines manually and have little experience with Dr. Andrews studies, I see the potential in this field (when some studying have been done), so my "fork" might be all wrong in some pro's eyes(when I have 2 trendlines I only copy their angle and apply them with almost same distance in between).

Noticed you're from Sweden. Not too many from Scandinavia around here, unfortunately. Keep up the good work, kompis

To draw a parallel to a line, select the line, and "control" drag it to new position.

littlejohson,

It is not about reading and writing. Perhaps you should have picked a name without the connotation.

I draw warning lines simply by drawing a trendline onto the PF. You first have to draw a trend line perpendicular from the ML to an outer line then move it down/up, then move the longer trendline to the spot. It's a pain in the ass, plain and simple.

eSignal has great PF by the way. It draws trigger lines, warning lines, and fibs within the PF.

With MT4, it's all manual.

Hey Scott,

Can you let me know what you think about the book after you've looked at it? I just checked Amazon and there are three books by him, including the one you have. I'll get them if there's anything new in them.

I agree. More analysis and less bitching is needed. I've never looked at pitchforks before but I'm starting to like the idea. Here is my chart of the EUR/USD daily. Looks bullish. Maybe a buy on a break 1.5857. There seem to be enough room to hit 1.6000 at least.

Today im looking at euro usd daily chart and 4 h chart.
On daily we have nice triangle and in 4 h chart i draw schif median line and how you se from the chart today euro usd have a big gap.
If you read Steve Nison book or watch at his seminar you know gap act as suport and resistance, now let se if go to hit uper MLH then watch price action for entry short.
Another view of euro usd?
Regards

Hello,
I've been fascinated with pitchforks for quite a while now and have pretty much narrowed the tool to a "best fit" application. Perhaps this is not very technical, but it serves well as a lazy man's trendline, if you will. And isn't the goal to hit the median line? I believe the 80% success claim is that price will hit the median line. After that I wait for another pitchfork opportunity. Is this thinking way off the mark? I am hardly an expert.......at anything. But I do like your analysis and your opinion would be appreciated.

Thanks, Tom

Hello everyone,
Good to see some forks here!
Hope I will manage to learn much more from you....
I'm very excited about this strategy, but didn't find some good examples until now.

PS multumesc Catalin pt Candlesticks, o sa-ti cer si un link pt e-books-urile pe care le ai despre strategia asta...
I don't say
