Looks like you attempted to bring my thread back to life. I have not been around to keep it going due to being busy moving, etc. I still think my idea of sharing live trading ideas is good but it just takes more people participating. After I left it has been kinda quiet around here.

And I've been off system hopping/modifying more than trading. I wonder how it would look if we posted info for the same chart and time frames but using different approaches and see where they all converge...fib scalping, fib daily on hourly charts, hourly price action. When they all match maybe it's good to know.

I have not posted any of my trades before. Here are some GU ones today. All were meant to be variations on Bo/Thexder style.

First a long off the AL of the white swing fib, initial Sl 5 pisp = spread below the opposite AL, initial target 162%(-5 pips - spread). after it got to 138% I decided to try to change it into a longer term trade and set Sl to B/E, Target to the Intraday 138%. So stopped out at B/E.

The second trade was the other side of the white swing fib entry 5pips plus spread below the 0% , SL the 100% line, initial target the -62% (- 5 pips - spread). Because of the prior trade, the swing was re-drawn (green fib) and Target adjusted to the -62% of the green fib (-5pips - spread). This one got 20 pips.

Third trade a bounce off the Intraday Long line. I got both greedy and nervous, so after + 25 pips, set the SL to BE and got stopped out.

I thought this thread was dedicated to posting real time trade using Bob's Fib Analysis, so why has everyone stop posting?

It will be nice to learn from you guys/gals who got on early on Bob's Fibo Analysis and share your success rate.

What i see on the charts right now is that the sentiment is bearish and if price can hold resistnce the market will be going short...

I would like to see a breack of the counter fibbs first though...

Now I'm biased long but I noticed there's a major 4 hr DTL intercepting price right now. Additionally, I think price needs to come down first and take a breather before going up. Anyone else have an analysis for cable tonight?

Looking bearish since the fact the 61.8 fribb is holding nicely...also price has not been anle to break the biggest resistance fibb on 4 hour chart....and when ever its another fibb besides the intraday i only see it as a break if its from the 4 hour chart...

4 hour chart show that we never had a break but only a pierce...

Looking bearish since the major fibb push down ...also price has been whanting to come donw...also are intraday levels did not get meet yesterday that means price did not have enough strong bullish bias...i would only take the break of the high but not the bounce of the intraday levels...



also look at how price has reacte to the major resistance up above us...

So much ranging in the markets right now. They're acting like news is coming out but there's none scheduled. Better go get some popcorn.

I took the break of the high. In retrospect I could've gotten a better entry I'm sure if I waited, but I think this could be the beginning of a daily MS. I'll be adding to position with opening above my intraday long levels. Hopefully bulls can sustain momentum, but it's been looking bullish so far this morning and USD/JPY also appears to be dropping.

I think its a good idea you guys/gals are trying to revive this thread, i believe it will help us all in the long term to learn from each other using Bob's Fibo strategy to trade.

Just want to say my long of yesterday finally hit T1 early this morning and pips banked so will wait and see if theres any set-ups in the currencies I trade if not thats me done for this week. Its been a week of indecision in the market and alot of reverse trends.

Will like to gauge you guys/gals opinions on taking trades on fridays?

I will wait for the close of this candle before deciding if I will re-enter the market and also Im having a bullish bias for cable though Im still keeping in mind today is Friday and there aint no fundies to push it North as you said in your earlier post.

Yesterdays intraday targets got hit...also samll swing to hit today two thats why it ran out of buyers after the break of the high...since the traders that held their long closed there...

Darn. Why oh why did I take the break. I should've been more patient. But at the same time I don't see a reason to close it either b/c it doesn't look short yet. Looks like I might be caught in the upper end of this range. Well hopefully support holds, and if not it's a loss. Chalk it up to paying my tuition on patience.

About friday's - I play it when there seems to be volatility in the market. This morning it looks like there was a decent amount so I jumped in.

To push cable North there is some USD news at around 8:30 so maybe that could cause additional volatility.

Just want to recommend to you all who have not seen or read Skunny's thread Indicators Free Trading, I think needs to read it up Im going through it at mo and will definitely re-read it again when Im done, the traders there did some amazing analysises and its full of gems on how you look at the market and also how to use the Fibs tools to its max.

Though lately they have been some negative postings and all the regularly traders have moved on but its worth the read IMHO, Bob and Skunny use Fibs to trade and learning both systems will make you a better Fibomania trader.

One last thing there are some amazing posts and cracking one-liners that will keep you amuse throughout the thread.

Since you are around just a quick question the last two hourly candles has closed exactly at the same price from my broker's feed .9491, do you think theres any significant in that?Or Im just looking for a reason to jump in the trade cos of my long bias.Lol

My last two candles both opened lower than the previous candles. I'm afraid I might be stuck in a range. I also generally look for USD/JPY to move in the opposite direction and it's turned around bullsih since I've been in my trade. Since I've been in it's up 40 pips, but cable still showing bullishness right now. If I were you I'd wait for the confirmation of opening above 1.9500. I took the break and am now suffering wondering if she's going to break the range.
