seems like the news has not affect significantly on pound... does this shows that gu will hike up to 9800s?

I think it is highly likely that this thing will sell off at some time today, if not for all the logical reasons, for the fact that it is Friday.

cable today seemed to be no direction. Anyone has any thought about this?

The overall trend is up. I was looking at 9680 as a possible final support before the heavy downwards. We never saw its shadow.

If the market manages to close this Friday above 9700 / 9716 / 9722, bears will run for cover on Monday...

do you mean the pair going to close below 9700 today and starting downtrend next week? seems like the price need to break 9700 price before it goes downtrend? sorry, so confused now...

yes I think we will have a close below 9700 today. As for trend, it depends on which timeframe you speak of

Does this make any sense:

On the first week of 2007 we saw a huge selloff. However, it was clear that we were moving like 80-100 pips and then a strong action come into place to prevent from retracement.

Therefore, there was many more to sell, but instead of spike at once and swallow the retracement, the maket managed it until we saw 92 area - never hit after 9846).

The same seems to be in place here. All the money to push us up to 9846 was saved to prevent Cable from sinking. As the price was staying steady here, my system froze! There was a huge defense built at the famous 9722 area...

That's the same mechanics working here, in my opinion...

I feel that we are going straight to 1.9600.

I have this on most of my short term trade strategies.

Right now on the 15 Minute the 250 EMA is at 1.9705.

This was the reason I placed my Target last night on my Goal 2 at 1.9706.

It took some time to get there, now we will see if it straddles this area before heading down a little furhter today.
