If we would see a confirmation bar tomorrow for the gbp/chf, then I think we would test the bottom of that previous consolidation area around 2.12. Either way, the PA will show us which way to go if it happens or not. Best of luck trading, everybody.

I think you meant to say the 4 bar.

A lot bullish price bars on Euro pairs (except EURUSD), but many up against retracement and support=>resistance levels.

EuroUSD against it. Looks like USD buying is countering. Maybe this proves the uncertainty of the pin bar on this pair.

Really need to be careful about which pairs are traded here.

They never make it easy do they?

Hey man,
What would qualify as a confirmation bar? I'm just curious what you mean by that as I like much of what I've read from your posts.

Thanks,

I agree Bundyraider. They are nice pins but I don't think they are good situations. My guess is that the Yen pairs will continue down...the USD will continue being sold. There is so much downward pressure in the other direction.. I don't feel the equity markets are going to make a comeback this week either.

I am trading the weekly PA confirmation bars!

A standard bullish bar, with good close in the highest part of the bar.

Sometimes a setup can look a little shakey and the best approach is to wait for a confirming bar.

A lot of the bullish PA we are seeing today is due to the Sunday bar (on IBFX charts), so needs to be taken with that in mind.

Maybe mike will verify this later for you.

Nah, daily.

IBFX charts?

It's not the strongest close anyway is it?

The trend line reaction is more what I'm after here. Waiting to get in still. Not convinced yet.

Just a little more clarification, would a confirming bar in this case be a BUOVB totally engulfing the previous bar? Or would it just need to close on the highest part of the bar? Thanks.

I did not place a stop on my trade, and what a great example of price being rejected at the pin high. Still in play as it was not broke.
