I'm short with 1 lot and carrying an anoying drawdown here. But I'm looking at the big picture, expecting the price to fail at the channel's upper trendline - as of this morning news - then resuming downwards.

Empire news caused a quick 40 pips up / 40 pips down last month. I still don't know whether or not I will skip the news, this time.

But due to this long time ranging at high levels, I bet there won't be too much of a punch to break 9700 (break it, not touch it) or to fight 9750s.

If the news come USD positive we may see 96LOW/95HIGH as resistance for the day....

That's what is on my mind

If my observation is not wrong it should now move up to somewhere around 1.9710 and the market will later decide whether it will bounce back to somewhere around 1.9670 or continue going up. This is just my opinion and never take it seriously though...

if it breaks 1.9710, ill lock the profit @ 1.9689, tp 1.9845, then south to 1.9738 and then ??

4hour spinning top. hi-low away from open-close which happen to be very close to each other. you could instead call it a long legged doji candle. it is composed of 2 pinbars in the hourly. dig into the detail to identify them.

Got it... 2 opposing pin-bars. One indicating bull, the other bear...

no, just indecision at resistance. look into the detailed 15 minute chart. it defines a range. wait for break of range. that should signal direction.

edit. you can use it to scalp....but not now obviously.

if price break and move 2% percentage that spinning top and break the 9750..i guess..we will see the 2.00 area soon..maybe this week..

the talking heads have said onthe tube that they think the empire numbers will be lower, like 19, by their analysis. should mean a gbp up tick??? any thoughts??
