Lots=1 Lot size for each trade (i.e. 1.0, .01, .1)
MoneyManagement=false Use money management routines
Risk=10 Percent of account balance to risk on a tradeIgnored

DislikedI'm a bit confused by the MM system in the EA here - should you be using the Lots and Risk settings together? Or does the EA auto calculate what Lot size to be using if you have MoneyManagement=true and Risk set?
Thanks!

DislikedYes, that's a little confusing isn't it. I will move Lots= up under a different category.
Lots= is used regardless if you have MoneyManagement enabled or not so you can control how many lots it uses for each trade.
If MoneyManagement is TRUE, it doesn't even look at the Lots= setting. It will do it's calculation and the minimum will be 0.1 if your account balance is too low. (Maximum will be 99 due to the limitation of the trading platform).Ignored
DislikedExcellent!
And the Risk % is on a per trade basis, or in terms of how many trades the EA will allow you to have open full stop? I'm reading it as per trade, but wondering if there's some way to limit how many trades in total the EA could have you in.Ignored
DislikedI know you're a total rookie if you actually entertain the idea of 500 pips a week. At that rate you could eclipse Bill Gates and Warren Buffet in wealth within a year. I suggest you take a reality pill.Ignored
DislikedJust put 1.1 on MT4 but it wont trade with uninit5 reason...
Also, the EA says that it wont work on live account but it's on demo ATM...
Any idea ?
Have you changed the logic because the previous version was was trading almost as soon as i put it on my charts ?Ignored
DislikedIt is probably fine.
Uninit5 states that you changed the parameters (perhaps the magicnumber after it had a smiley face) and it was just restarting the EA:

No, it normally will not start a trade immediately now. I've only had 2 trades so far today since 8:00 GMT and none are currently open.
The "demo" statement always appears when the EA first starts in the journal. You would also get an ALERT box if you tried to put it on a live account.Ignored
Disliked@ Neal
Not sure why the EA didn't open the short on the highlighted candle on the chart.

DislikedGood on you Neal for developing this system. I have a feeling that you will be improving on it as much as possible over the coming weeks.
I would still like to know the optimal pair(s) for trading your EA ? Clearly there are certain pairs that have a higher success rate than others, and it would be nice to ascertain just exactly what those pairs are.
Neal, is it possible that from now on you can upload updated versions of your EA so as we can trade "live" if we want to ? Some of us like the idea of risking a few dollars here and there.
Thanks.Ignored
