Don't get me wrong...I do like your charts and indicators. It's just that Imran's system is not exactly as simple as some may think and additional stuff may just confuse people. I definitely think you should start your own thread and I will be one of the first to subscribe to it Some may construe the posting of unrelated strategies in an established thread as 'hijacking a thread'.

Thanks for the heads up. I am not a highjacker at least not wanting to be and I may have learned that if I would have taken the time to read that thread, That is a thread right. Anyway, yeah I will keep in mind the purpose of each thread from now on . I love Imran's thread and System. I appreciate the feedback.
I want to start a thread where people can share whatever they want I just don't know exactly what I want to be yet. I'll figure it out.

LISPA2 has different rules and does not give signals for any specific level crossing. You can read about all the rules for all my systems in my thread. But, LISPA2 has filters to reduce false signals. All automated systems will give lot of false signals when the market is going sideways. The recent version of Laguerre1Alert I posted should also reduce some fake signals (compared to the original version).

My chart setup changes too often. Currently I don't have any alert system there! Just watching few MAs, BB, Pivots and Lags.

You can send Private Message to Imran, if you want to be considered for the next pooled account. You can use PM only after having 15 posts.

chandra, thanks very much for your reply...i am getting to know everything pretty well now and i see what you mean about studying the charts after receiving an alert from lispa2......it doesn't always mean that there is a trade to take. But it certainly takes a lot of pressure off with not having to keep flicking thru the charts...thanks !!
i am using the Laguerrealert too but only attached to lag2...so that i get a sound alert when just lag2 crosses the line.

yes it is possible to have multiple account open at the same time but it will depend on your broker platform and you probably have to download some new software that will allow you to do that.
With my broker it is called a 'Muti Terminal Trading Station'....why not go to your brokers website and ask them in 'live chat' they will certainly be able to advise you.

Hi All

I would certainly advise all fellow newbies to read ALL the posts on this thread.............a bit daunting i know ha ha !! I am up to page 145 and still have a long way to go but it has been invaluable....it is like a FAQ site and there is so much to learn that way.

it makes a huge difference to the pivot levels so it must be an important factor?

Hello Everyone,

Wanted to try and get back into posting some trades for everyone, also for those still learning and trying to really get hang of Imran setup...



This trade was a counter trend trade but aslo was taken on the 15min TF, U will see this trade was worth around 80 pips.

No I do not use Lispa2. I use ASCTTrend1sig-imran and analyz my sharts after signal is given.

Kimmy, I think its your 1st and 2nd chance at entering that trade and if I am not mistaken, Chandra prefers taking the 1st signal on the 15min tf and 2nd signsl on the 5min tf. Just go thru about last 5-6 pages and u will find his post

yes you are right ....i took the explanation below from the indicator settings page....hope it helps :

I want to say thanks to Imran and the others who have been sharing with everyone here over the past few months. I happened to come across this forum about two weeks ago. I have since implemented the strategies laid out in Imran's document. This is a very powerful way of trading. I have had more success with this strategy than anything else I have been doing. More than 95% of my trading is done with the GBP/JPY pair.

I am pleased to see that there seems to be a renewed life with this thread. I haven't counted, but the number of daily posts seems to have picked up again. I hope that will continue so we and others will always have a place to learn and share what is an excellent trading strategy.

Thank you again to each and everyone of you who has asked questions along the way and a big THANKS to those who have answered the questions to help guide each of us to a profitable journey.

As a consultant to non profit organizations here in the US in helping them achieve their vision through philanthropy, let's all remember to give a portion of what we make in our trading to our favorite cause so that they too can achieve their vision like we are doing here.
