This is the first time to use this setup for real
short went fine, got +100
now i'm in Long, Hope will go well

Long was triggered first if you follow the rules. How did you get +100 for sell?

today is bad day for this system ok, let see tomorrow, hopefully we will get better trade.

oh ya, just my 2 cent, don't rely to much on the system, still we need to learn how price move

my ma's didn't allow me to take the long trade and i didn't go short because the low of 210.62 was made on a green candle. So nothing for today.

This is from a summary put together in post# 2230.......


Entry Buffer: The buffer is placed above/below the Range High/Low to set the automatic Buy/Sell Stop orders. If you want the EA to enter the trades right at the range extreme, then set this to 0. If you want to add some padding (the default is 10) set this to what ever padding you want and it will add that much padding to the range and enter the orders there. Let’s say, the Upper Range is 100 and the Lower Range is 60. If you set the Buffer to 0, the EA will place the Buy order at 100 + spread and the sell order at 60. Now, if you leave the default setting, in which the Buffer is set to 10, the EA will enter the Buy order at 100 + Buffer + Spread = 110 + Spread and the Sell order at 60 – Buffer = 50. (For the GBPJPY, I use 8 and for the EURJPJ and GBPUSD I use 5 (LarryR).)

Has anyone used the ENTER ON RETRACEMENT option that the EA offers? I have noticed that on several occasions including today, that after the breakout, price turns around and goes the other way past the H/L for a substantial gain.

Noticed this myself recently. I use EA daily but have not tried this option yet, guess i was waiting for someone else first! Would be interested to see the outcome.
Incidently, do you trade the 100SL or the 50SL fo GJ? It would eb interesting to see which system tweak currently works the best.

Yes, I believe that is the one until Saaedb returns from vacation.

I have been trading the 100sl as suggested by Cesarnc(see his posts on this thread) but I am still trying other sl/tp/ts/be options

would be useful to get a weekly comparison of the tweaks and original nico system, similar to what the guys do over on the Daily 95pips site. We could then perhaps trade slightly differently depending on the changing market conditions. Just a thought.

I am new on this thread (still reading it... quite a lot of posts), and tomorrow will start demoing the EA on several pairs. I understand that Saaedb put a restriction that only allows for demo trading. Is that still the case?
