DislikedI have a question. Let me discribe a long trade. 1. We have received the Long Signal 2. Green are above red 3. Macd is above the zero Line. 4. Laguerre is at the High 0.98 and flat.
Do I have to take this trade or not? (Due to Laguerre)

DislikedIf you look at GMMA's then you see that they are not arranged correctly.Ignored
DislikedHello all,
I just finished reading all the 93 pages of the thread. First of all, thanks to The Wicker and everyone contributing to this system.
I understand what the slope is used for (exits only), but can anyone tell me what exactly the slope shows, technically I mean. I didn't find an answer to this in the previous posts.
Thanks for your answer...

DislikedIn my opinion, slope shows d slope (DIRECTION- UP or DOWN). Personally, I only see it that way. The rules says it can b used 4 exit. I use this system for entry only. I like how 70% accurate d entries are. When it comes 2 exit, I place fixed 'Take profits' levels, sometimes I move my stop loss, trailing my profits and can move my 'Take profit' levels, depending on d momentum I c.
Also, once I'm 20 pips in profit, I move my stop loss 2 break-even. I don't want 2 lose in a trade that has gone this far.
Exiting trades at slope line cross can make u 10 or 30 pips shy of fixed "Take profit' levels. If u look at d chart above, I would hav lost 10 pips if I waited for a slope line cross.
For newbies, Paper- trade historically and demo- trade, u wil understand, instinctively, how far each currency pair wil move so as to place exit levels. It bcomes part of u. Follow d rule of 20-pip exit until forex becomes part of u.Ignored
DislikedI think pierre102 posted a correct chart that gave profitable yields. I don't know what u meant by the GMMA not being arranged correctly. This is exactly where Expert advisors are important, not 2 automate trade but 2 give u d direction or 'arrangement' of d GMMA. Sometimes, we may not c d rainbow correctly, but the EA can SEE.
Since trading has a lot of shades, it wil b nice 2 hav a guide. The modified P.Murfin EA has a been a source of insight 2 me, so that I don't pull d trigger until I read d comment on my chart: TRADE : LONG or TRADE: SHORT, no matter how I c the GMMA. Why, because this EA cannot b wrong. Look closely.
Remember, after the EA's comment, put your trigger on hold until u c MACD and laguerre cross as explained by d law giver.Ignored
DislikedI think you may be right. It's sometimes difficult to see how the GMMA's are at the moment so this is where EA comes in.
I too personally wait for the EA to signal a trade and then take it manually if I think it will be a profitable one.
One question for you timex83 though: What are the currency pairs you are trading. I trade 6 pairs but thinking about adding some more to get more trades.
In average I get about 15 trades per month which is OK but would like to see your opinion about pairs worth trading. Also how many trades you take per month?
Thank youIgnored
