no .i think its very natural in this time and day and if something big happend after this slow movment that will not related to this slow movment.
look at the picture below.the circle shows some resting period for price thease are very significant and u see the falls after them but a slow movment in 2,3 candles during the slowest time of the week cannot means anything

Here's another approach to TL's.... with an intermediate one shown, as well as the daily (top nearly horizontal) and the bottom from connecting the lows of last fall. Shows an inflection point brewing. Who will win, bulls or bears.... Moral, wait for clear market motion. If I were a bear I would want a clear break of the lower TLine, maybe a retracement back near it, and a clear MACD signal.

Likewise, if I were a bull I would want a clean break of the upper trendline, retrace back to near it and clear MACD signal.

I favor a bear, since the market is tracking the 21ema down, but time will tell. As Tom Petty would sing....., "The Waiting is the hardest part".....

Check out the daily and 4H charts attached below. My TL starts at the beginning of the uptrend that began in August. Noticed how its bounced off of the TL the last three days.
I also drew a Fib off of the down move from late Nov.-late Dec. It's been bouncing off of those Fib lines ever since. Note on the 4H chart it's found support on the .236.

Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and time with me, I particularly like you fib observation, I have a habit of using fibs on smaller timescales as the screen gets difficult to read, but the larger timeframe fibs are more significant I guess. Thanks again for your time.

I don't know how many of you do follow this pair but it is one of the three pairs I am following.

It gave a nice signal yesterday (TC) (zero bounce/break) just below the 21MA in between a triangle being formed by the two 4h black support and resistance lines. The target was the 4h black support line.

Now I am waiting to see what's going to happen with the triangle.

CAD 4H chart shows unclear price movement - I mean even if you are range trading it looks to be in the middle of range. If you like TC trading then to me there is clearly no trend.

Price also currently stuck between the last down move's fib levels on the 1H.

However most important is you are trading to your written plan - not just in your head but written down. In my plan I first identify market condition - trend or range or unclear - I only trade when trending is 100% clear on the 4H - for me nothing else matters not MACD not 89MA - price action must be trending. If you like range trading Phillip suggest taking MACD signals at the range boundary.

My goodness the Forex markets are flat. Maybe you could scalp for a few pips here and there. Even pivot point trading looks to be of little use.

What in the world is keeping the market so flat?

I know that at 8.00 was 4H short signal and i took it. Did not believe but i made some pips and now out of that possition. That was my first 4H live trade. Thanks guys !

Thanks. I didnt take as much as i could because im not so confident yet. I took only 20 pips from it. Need more practice to build confidence. I repeat all the time Philip Nel's words: BE PATIENT, MARKET WILL COME TO YOU ... aren't these a great words ?? - yes they are great and true.
