Quoting BurgerKingDislikedMy TV was tuned in at Bloomberg TV. And I heard the announcer said "lower..." before the spikes occur. If im not mistaken, he was a few seconds ahead 8:30AM EST (my clock is fully sync to an atomic time).
Though I heard him said the number early, I did not jump the gun. My plan was to wait for the retrace. Each news has its strategy: Straddle, Fade, and for Trade Balance its "Wait for Retrace".Ignored

Quoting kanapsDislikedhi guys I am newbie here please advise.
what is your trading strategy on news?
5 min before the news I'm trying to place 2 orders 20 pips up and down.. take profit 50 pips.. trailing stop 30 pips... but it doesn't really work...
Do you do it in similar way?
If you are waiting couple hours after the news, how do you know what way will it go?
Thanks in Advance for the help.
