I think considering the demand we have seen for this pair, another rally up to 211.30 level is a possibility, though we should wait until ISM ...

where does everybody see potential pullback entries.....

right now i see the first at about 210/210.3 from the break of the TL and previous low, but the next as high as a little above 211 (but i doubt it will make it that far up now)

any input?

(btw....small bullish divergence on 5min MACD; maybe it will play out a bit if it trades above about 210.15)

Hi every body,
I want to post letting all of you know I Found a great feed back method. We all know the clarity20/20 of hindsight in tradable markets and in life.
Wazzuvius, you mentioned last week you were interested in screen shots of the zup indicator(which is the only indicator you really need).
So, when Wazzuvius mentions this I remembered reading in the zup material that screen shot are the best type of feed back. I new this already although had not really explored it use.
I found, through my Gmail account on google, That they have Google PICASA2. Picasa2 allows you to view pictures and organize them for upload to google web albums for public or private viewing(with or without password). The really cool part is when you have the screen shots on your hard drive and your viewing them in Picasa2 you can scroll through your screenshots, if you have a roller scroll button its even better. When you scroll though your screen shots it is like a little movie of the market movements.
I have uploaded pretty many screen shots of imrans system and those that have the Zup73 and zup73/zup71 tpl there aswell.Many of you probably already do this, but, I have learned a thousand time more in a few days than I have in weeks and I want to share how cool Picas2 is and want to share it with all of you so you too can see what I mean by little movie.
I especially think this movie style feedback vital to learning Zup because once the market move forward you can not recreate what the Zup does.
If you do try checking out my web albums you will have to get Picasa2 and you might have to get a gmail email account And you can scroll through this screenshots faster if you download the screenshots. I realize you all might already have similair programs to scroll through pics I just want to share what I learned.
I have screenshots of 5m-Imrans, 5m,15m,30m,60m,240m,daily and weekly(one or two) charts screenshots of GBP/JPY and gold there. I tried to keep the screenshots consistant but there not all perfect. But, there are some incredible feedback here.

Also, you can set picas2 to search specific locations or folders when it is on.It's like picas2 was made with screenshots and traders in mind,hence, picture viewing.When I take a sceen shot and save it, when picasa2 is on, a little window shoots out from the edge of the screen notifying picasa recieved the photo or screenshot. Just want to mention that with the Zup indicators,I noticed that even if there is no pattern being diplayed that almost every sigle time the price touches key ratios to previous prices that the price instanly changes directions. I have been able to enter trades way ahead of time and I use Imran's system as comformation. The 15m and 30m with the Zup are very powerful regarding there ratios. In a very short time with proper feedback like what I'm sharing now you wil instantly recognise thes ratios as you becume farmilair withem and the key ratios are highlighted automatically by the zup. Go slowly through my screen shots and you will see how powerfull these ratios are and trust them and you will be in trades that will blow your minds.I have demark on there too.

My target hit today, for 232 net pips on part of that position. I will let the rest of this position ride the rest of the way down with a stop at break even.

My other short I had pending from 213.50 didn't get hit so I am canceling it for now

I will look to add more shorts next on rallies. Imho, we are headed south fellas.

Same here Lep. I was short from 210.50 and 210.74 my targets hit nicely at 209.50> ai m thinking of reloading at 210.50 area again as thats the 4hr resistence on my chart. It is also 50EMA on the 4hr which is tough to get past. Opinions welcome I am targeting Daily Gann at 208 area will reconsider afther that.

I am looking at 210 to reload as well, but I always want the best discount I can get.

I am almost sure I could short right now and close it next week for 400+ pips, but I want to see 210 resistance tested again.

211.23 is the 50EMA close on my 4H, open is a few ticks above that.

Even better entry point......to short.

Aus was predicting a 208 to 222 mini reversal before the plummet down.
I wonder if this'll play into that thought process at all ?

Just wanted some opinions of this thought process.
From everyone that specifically follows GY.

X being the start of the down trend, from the HH since 1990.

I shorted at 212.20 with a small position once price rejected the 212.34 area and put my tight stop loss just above the 212.34 at 212.52. Its a risky play on news, price could have easily gone the other way.

Hi all there, pls excuse my poor english (hi all Czechs here !!) and my opinions, if they turn to be nonsense Naturally, it´s all IMWO (In My Worthless Opinion)

I think that today´s low (208.85) is a start to a great rally upside.. I think everybody will agree that the U/J is THE major factor for The Beast´s movement. The cable may do what it does; it´s the GBP part of The Beast but, in my opinion, the least significant one. Yep, the Soros-organized pound freefall aged 1992 speaks another words, but, the rises&falls in the near past (got my eye on the market since mid 2006) depend, in VAST majority, on the rate between the USD and the JPY.

I know. Everything depends on everything. There can be some situations (and times), when the GBPJPY rate determines the direction JPY goes to USD. After all, The Beast stands for Carry Trades. And those trades account for a surely significiant amount of the market, as it is.

But.. Which currency pair has the most volume traded worldwide ? .. naturally, it´s the EUR/USD. USDJPY is THE SECOND ONE. Even Cable trading volumes are significantly larger than those belonging to The Beast.

This clears the fact, that, if USD/JPY makes a significant breakout, The Beast will (almost always) follow with BIG moves. The Pound is a cooperating factor only; it can accelerate if it goes with the U/J, but it can (almost) never shape the direction the Beast moves.

My conclusions that I see (ignoring TA on The Beast alone):

 

1. USD/JPY is not willing to go below 105.0. Interest rates, NFP, whatever. Btw the pair will seek for a correction, and, after all, Japan will tend to weaken the Yen in its own interest in the very near future. IMWO, USD/JPY has clearly nowhere to go but UP, at THIS moment.
2. Cable has freefalled today. Yes, after all, the NFP report (revision) was dollar positive. But this cable fall was (IMWO) due to the inability to break the 1.9950 resistance this week. It´s stalled now at 1.9650 support for relatively very long (couple of hours) as it broke the two significant S´s at 1.9785 and 1.9715. But, IMWO, as a sole response to the failure of breaking the 1.9950, the present cable short can not survive. Today´s NFP was NOT so long-term-moving event.. compare USD/CAD, AUD/USD, NZD/USD.. and, after all, USD/JPY. Only European currencies suffered absoulutely from this NFP. This will correct soon; the Euro will attack 1.50 again, as the Cable will (and will succeed) look after the 2.00 burden.

We shall see The Beast to reach 216.25 during week or two. And once this happens, the 221.75 burden will be tested. If broken, we will have a new uptrend here, topping finally at around 242.00 And then.. then the really serious ride down will begin

However, during next few days, we could see it at about 207.50, as USD/JPY may finally retest the 105.00 resistance.
