it was the settings your using i was hopeing to find, you show a pivot, tp points long short etc, is that set in a fib indicator already on MT4 or did you create it. i prefer to add the fib's as i find that auto fibs tend to use a selected candle or countback method and may not be a true representation of the movment.

anychance you can post the settings if your using the simple fib addon, i can set it up on mine, i can apply them, i just haven't quite fiquered out which points your using for which lable.

OK, here is another quick video on setting the chart up, narrated of coarse by your friendly neighborhood Alabamer feller. In this one the video isnt sharp but the volume is ok...go figure.

With the current cable situation - price above intraday long fib.

Assuming price moves beyond the intraday high in late asian session - would you look to enter on a bounce of a swing set?

Or would you redraw the intraday fib using the new assume high - and entry when price comes back to intraday zone then break?

Just planning ahead .....

Honestly we'll just have to wait and see what happens late in the Asian session. If the Intraday levels of today do hold I would take the bounce, if the high breaks first use the Swing and follow price action just incase it fails at 1.9950.A break short and I would expect somewhat of a fight for it to continue down, be wary around the previous lows. This may be night of price action rules and adapt on the fly.

thanks, i attached it to a GU chart and got 6 sets of fibs, will work out how to add to other charts, tomorrow, getting late here in the UK.

Hi Bo,

The video's are great. I've got the hang of how and where to place the fibs but just watching the videos really helps to confirm i'm on the right track.

This was just what I needed, Thank you so Much! Now I need to know which boxes we need to add, if I'm getting this right, we need one for the Intraday, one for the Retracement, but not clear about what the 3rd one is.

(I want to add them myself so I know I understand what I am doing.)

One of my favorite set ups as a futures trader was using fib retracements - nothing fancy - the 38% level seemed particularly good in the bund - it seems like they work great in fx also : )

The rectangle boxes are just to keep you focused on the levels and let you know where the other levels from the other fibs are at by color coding them if you like.

I remember being afraid to take a swing short because it was going to fall into the intraday box. I'm still a little apprehensive about that...Will the box close the lid and let it bounce off, or will the bottom fall through...

We need an indicator to specify if the boxes are wet cardboard or molded plastic.

I drew those across the each leg down that cable made during this run down. Each one of those little stair step moves down I measured.
