so far so good

Swissy short, sl at BE 2.15, unfortunately on my Demo
Eur/Gbp short at 0.7462 - Sl .7562 demo

just looked at AUD/CAD again 13x100 down on 4h, 8x13 down on daily and 100 below 200. not sure if i should wait for the daily to retrace or take the 4h as retracement complete. demo or live, ok so demo it is.

on a roll now, lets hope it the same when there's money on the table.

When I wait for a daily retracement, I take the signal for when the retracement is over on the 4hr. Unless it is still in complete whipsaw.
It is better to wait for the ema cross and S&R line or trendline is broken. Now you have two reasons to get into a trade instead of just one. Soon you will be on your way to finding three or four reasons to get in a trade and that is even better because it means your trading and not chasing the market.

It's never the same when there is money on the table.

i'm going to trade 20% of my normal amount so i can afford the SL, but hell that still feels wrong, some pairs need 150-200pips - which actually would mean less lose if taken out as i normally trade a 50pips sl. but

i'll get used to it though, it's only a numbers game after all.

Held of the Aud/Cad trade as the 8x13 crossed up with last candle on 4h, nice downward TL bounce, forming resistance so waiting to see if that holds.

Indeed, this has been a crazy week. I see CAD Gaining strength for some good setups on the crosses (USD, EUR, GBP) when they do crossover.

eur/chf and gbp/chf - how are they affectionatly known.

anyway both are making some good siz corrections, but the MA's are staying inline, for the time being, looking for a 4h 100ma i think.


EUR/USD
4h chart has the 13x100 cross and the daily looks to be making an 8x13, still holding a position from 1.4600 and 1.4700, so won't add untill 13x100 cross confirmed.

Ladies and Gentlemen
Please give it up BIGTIME for our ff member CHARLIES.

he has created an indicator, that has it all, arrows, alarms, e-mails (for text messages)on so on.

when you open this up on any TF you will get a series of coloured circles that will show what is going on in other TF for that pair, and alarm will sound at the close of a bar if anything has crossed and then it can send you a text.

there is an addon to this that will follow later, that will tell use which of the 18pairs available are in trend formate and on which TF.

so load, have fun and don't forget to thank CHARLIES.

just so you know i did help, i added the barclock.

I just checked it out, one thing is that the MA crossover signal, the arrows do not properly line up.

The only one I could open was the bar clock, Which I though it was going to tell me at what time should I head off to the pub.

When I click on the others it tells me it could not find the file to open with

BWR settings.doc is a word 2003 document, if you need it in another format let me know, but all files need to be down loaded and placed in there correct file locations

BWR.tpl - C:\Program Files\MetaTrader 4\templates
3MAtrend - C:\Program Files\MetaTrader 4\experts\indicators
MA_crossover - C:\Program Files\MetaTrader 4\experts\indicators

assuming you auto loaded the platfrom it should be something like that, the files can't be accessed. once you put them in the correct location, close you mt4 platform and then re-open it and open a new chart, select BWR template. Done.

just thought - when you click on the file hit save not open. the rest you probably know

so do we use weekly or not and is this tradable? maybe we wait for the bounce from the daily 100

I would be careful with the AUD & NZD crosses. From my experience, if it is a clear bear or bull market, then I usually play around with the crosses. Otherwise, they can turn against you in a heartbeat since they are heavily correlated with the carry trade.

So, here is A.J 4hr.
It is not making Impulsive waves which means this is all corrective CRAP, not waves but crap. On the daily we are in a descending triangle (see white lines) on the 4hr we are looking for an impulsive wave which we may have an implusive wave up, however if the bottom redline is touched than that nullifies an impulsive wave and we are back into corrective crap, The top redline is the last swing high so I would look for this line to be taken out and if that happens then thats a good sign to go long. (at least until the top of the daily triangle) but if it shows an impulsive wave up most likely the triangle will be taken out.

Here is the moment of truth for cable 4hr.

Price is at the 200 ema. Stochs are oversold which means its trending.
MACD is up as well, Not that I really pay attention to these indicators but when they line up sometimes they are right. (sometimes)
The good news is once the blue ma's cross the 200 they stay that way for a while and they just crossed on the 1hr.(yes even on the 1hr charts the blue ma's stay on one side or the other of the 200) and it looks like they are heading up to cross on the 4hr as well.
