Pivot Point: What time to start?

At what time of a day do you think pivot point works very well?

From your experience, what time of a day is best to set the pivot to start calculating? Ex. 23.00 EST, 00.00 EST, Tokyo, Australian, London, and so on.

Thanks for the question. In my own strategies of using pivot point. I calculate the pivotpoint 3hrs before the london session, that is 2hrs previous of the 00:00 Est.

I use 5PM ET.
That's 2200 GMT, during the Winter. 2100 GMT during the Summer.

When I use pivots I base them on the start times of the trading sessions on which the pair is based. i.e. with GBPJPY I draw one set based on the London open time and one based on Tokyo open. I figure that these are the main traders for the pair and therefore they will all use their local session start time to set the pivots.
