Don't you dare risk 1$ a pip with a stop out there where I put it... !!! that could be a recipie for disaster.... !!

Ha HA! (Diabolical laugh) I have nerves of steel! You know...when the trade is going my direction. Then again I had to change out of a pair of brown shorts when that USDCHF trade started misbehaving. I did not get out of that trade to "cut my losses" when you positioned long and I was upside down almost 200 pips. I will not ever hold you responsible for any trading decision I make. Unless I win. LOL How bout that! As always, your input is taken to heart with me. Thanks so much for all the material and advice. I am a better trader by any measurement because of it.

The very honest truth is... if your trade is making you feel like throwing up... you have really risked too much... I lost 200 pips or whatever on CHF yesterday... but hey, it was only $ 14... I'LL get over it easily enough... !!!

OK... I am about 100 pips + so far on this... that is already 1% of my account... lets see if we can keep going a bit....

Even EUR/GBP has moved my way a few pips too... !!!

I did...I am long term bearish on the pair. So even though it is against me right now, I am in for sometime unless the pair really moves against me. Some mistakes I did that that I should not have done:-

1. I entered on the 15 min chart using a very wide stop loss and take profit. When in for a long ride, should have usd the 1hr/4hr TF.
2. Did not have the trade planned before I took it. Had to modify the stop loss. As a result, the risk I am carrying is much more than I would have liked.

OK Then... !! I agree... I have been looking for a place to get in too... but just not satisfied with anything I have seen.... which translates into... """ I have missed a whole hell of a lot of pips !!!""" I would really like to see a nice pull back for a chance to get in.... but seems we only take rest stops along the way, and I just can't seem to get in...

You know what..I need to get my psychology sorted out. Right now I am just all confused in my head in terms of the right approach to take. There are so many systems, theories in mind right now, that I end up using them inconsistently.

I would really like to see a pull back to 215 or even the blue 800 sma for me to get in short again... but perhaps I am dreaming....

I don't think you need much sorting out... I think you took the trades for the right reasons... hopefully they are small amounts with big stops, that will all pan out later... !!!

Moving my stop to past break even.... locks in + 0.7 % to my account

OK... I have closed out my CAD trade at +150 pips.... as price hits and perhaps bouncing off the white 200 ema...

This adds 1.5 % to my account... Making highest account balance so far this year...

Closed the trade and took a hit...don't see it reversing anytime soon...
Now I have gone long on carry trades...so NZDUSD, NZDJPY,AUDUSD,AUDJPY. The chart patterns show signs of bottoming out. Fundamentally the US rate cuts and the economic stimulus package should see us going up in the coming days, hopefully weeks.

Yes, I should have been paying more attention to the NZD/USD, instead of gloating over my CAD win...!!! Should have traded that after break of the yesterdays candle...

There is a classic weekly pin bar forming on AUDJPY..might be interesting...

What will your opinion be if it rises and penetrates into the body of the previous week..will it then be an invalid pin bar?
