Trading Methods

Hey folks, as I new trader I was wondering what were some of the most popular techniques used by successful traders.


Do most people prefer automated trading with EA or manual trading?


Are more people trading the news, or using technical analysis?


Which method is most popular for trading styles (scalp, trend, etc..)


I understand most of this is personal opinion so thanks for any input

how much time do you have?
can you handle watching a chart for hours?
Can you handle having a trade going against you or for you without closing too early?
Most good trading times are early morning. Also, can you program ?
I like action everyday and I like programming so I don't trade the daily but on the other hand i dont like the real fast scalping with autotrading as 2-3 pips spreads are too much to overcome for my existing abilities to program. so I dont do that eithor. It depends on your personality.
