I want to go on euro again, but didn't find the good price. Don't know if it has steam enough to go through 4850 + 40 cushion to place a stop there...

4835 is a good price, but it still inside of the channel euro is trading in the H4, since yesterday's top

Oh, sorry to hear about that cesarnc! I think we are using the same strategy on G/J (nicotina), and it works usually quite well, but sometimes I ignore it and take my trades the old-fashioned way and follow only the usual R/S and pivot levels with some fibs, especially on days with big news. Today I went short from 208.10 and closed it down @207.10 for +100, and now I'm sitting on the sidelines waiting for the news.

It seems that JPY was playing solo today!! Let's see what kind of surprises the news will bring us

I'm using two strategies, one of them is nicotina's, splitting the risk. This way the losses % (2 losses) are much less, although the chances of breakeven like this is relevant.

And chances of both winning are double the both losing, so gotta be patient and persistent.

Anybody can figure out WTF is going on?

hey cesar, finally got back to posting. had a couple of good days lately, playing usd/jpy. made a good 170 pips the last couple of days. woohoo. could have made more, trying to not be too greedy!!! as for what is going on, i have not a clue. everyone has a burr up their butt about cutting rates yesterday to like 1% so they can borrow massive money cheap. slowdowns come and go, everyone needs to chill out. this slowdown was predictable, but noone wants to admit it, this is the 80's all over again. poor people tried to get rich quick and got burned, now they will suffer and everyone will knash their teeth over it and blame the rich. i saw this housing crisi coming last year, noone wanted to listen. what is going to be economy in the next year will be interesting, but i will be fine, since i have found a system that i actuallyunderstand and have traded good and made some good pips, we shall see if i really understand it over the next week or two. the next president will be the key for the world economic health. if we get a moron, a democrat, the dollar will disappear as a world currency and the world will probably go into a depression and a world war. if we get a republican we will come back, but hoepfully the house will get back to repub control which will get our economy back on track and the worlds, so pray people here do not elect a moron. just my 2 cents.

Yesterday S&P 500 futures gapped down 17 points after regular trading ended, on the Intel news, etc.

This morning it has almost closed this difference. Either it was over-reaction and markets will climb higher (doubtful) or once the gap closes completely down we go some more.

Well, there is a lot of technology buying right now:

But I think it is only a quick retracement to fill the gap from yesterday.
