I read the entire lot of this thread about 10 times (it was only 40 pages then) and it confused the hell outta me.

It was only when i actually sat down and worked hard, watching price live, and Vhands (Vhands is ok, if you know what you're doing. It wont help completely though as you dont have news feeds and might not be aware of which session is in progress) that i actually started to pick this stuff up.

Do you find that having so many fibs on a chart can be more confusing (and disastrous). The wider the timeframe your fib is, the less relevant it seems to be to 50 pip moves. Next thing you start predicting where price is going and all of a sudden losing bigtime.

I just wait for price to say where its going, and then go with it. Unless a big news event kicks in, it goes ok.

Hi Bo, isn't it always possible for the thread starter to edit their 1st post?
If so, just add a note to say what the alternate names are for those Fibs you have re-named.

I would but after rereading the beginning I would have to do more editing than it would take to just start from the beginning again.

To me no it isnt confusing to have the fibs on the chart, splitting them up to separate chart will help if it does getsconfusing.With A daily chart having the 2 trending fibs and the retracement when needed, the other a 1 hour with just the Intraday and its swing on it.Thats only 3 fibs on a daily and 2 fibs on a 1 hour.

maybe you could edit No.1 post to tell people which page to start with,
i think the 100 pages is a treasure, we should keep them intact,
we could restart under this thread from now on,
make a pdf file,
make all the rules, settings clear

thats my opinion.

Hey Bo i vote to make it easier on yourself...start again...

Bo another thing that would help me out on the charts...could you make a little arrow or somethng to show where to enter or where you enter a trade....

What are we looking for now after such upward movement this am...when should we redraw fibs

Traders have to be big girls and boys, and work this stuff out. The only way I can place my thought process on someone else is for them to put in a lot of time with vHands Tester, instruction and real life.

If you can place a note on the first post to skip to post number XXXX for the updated terminology and chart setup, that is smart. Why waste your time editing any more than that? In the first post just advise there is still a lot of great content in the first 100 pages for review after the participant is thoroughly updated on the current setups.

Here is my chart from this morning, so I am waiting at this point. Please ignore the sell and stop lines. A friend asked me to review a EA he was considering (it's horrible - the trades are almost always opposite of my fib entries - and it's RR - pathetic - PS - bought on eBay - )

Now is a good time to move them up ( Retracement and Intraday), so you can pull the support levels up.
I will most likely start another thread with a better Intro and start with the overall picture first before starting in with Intraday and swing relation.
At first in this thread i was going to make trade calls and fib projections but i realised that was not a good idea for the simple fact some will use the thread for that purpose without any clue of why they are entering or what to do after entering.I will however give my thoughts for the day and what i will be looking for the following trading day.In the exercises i will point out the entry's as best i can but price action on a completed chart is hard to capture.But I'll give it a shot.

Here is what I've got now ,im looking to buy the dip now if the Intraday and Retracement fib levels hold.Price action will most likely detirminte the entry.Doesnt seem so crazy now to start pulling the Retracement fib yesterday now does it.

Actually if i start a 2nd thread and refreshed the overall view of what i do with fibs I can clean up whats been done in this one and make it better and easier to understand for everyone.This thread will remain as is.

If you start a new thread maybe you could close it at first so nobody can post on it until you've fully explained the whole strategy, that way it won't be filled with repetative questions and jabber. Now that you have been working on this thread for a while, you probably have an idea what kind of questions people have (I've noticed people ask you the same questions over and over) so you can address those at the very beginning.

I vote for starting a new thread but moderating it somehow to keep all of the relevant content easily accessible. The problem with all the threads here on ff is they get too cluttered and reading the thread eventually becomes a daunting task for newcomers, who have to sift through it to find the relevant information.

Thexder is The Man Jr.! Check out his Nov. pdf too as he has created some rules for entry that are very good. I think he is on to something here too trailing price on the 1 min to determine the best exit.
