I'm long from 1.9550 (and 1.9500 from last week)
Just moved SL to 1.9650 - ought to be ok either way

Fed's gonna have to act. Big time. As says Greenspan, recession don't come smoothy. It comes with disruption of the economic data. As we saw NFP and now the retail sales...

Recession is knocking on the door as we speak (if not already drinking beer inside of the kitchen)

Seen Fed, Paulson and Bush like to come with big deals on Friday. I guess is to give the market 2 days shut down for people to chew the news
i can't see how he can cut while speaking to congress so im guessing he will cut before then tells congress why he cut, just my gut feeling.

, the only thing can save the dollar against the pound if the u.k. economy start doing realy bad, it won't be because of the dollar.

But it's still trading inside of a sharp downwards channel in the daily. Any longs here demand attention. A sell rally can just hit this pair out of nowhere

Dow futures melting down... Interesting because these bad news are good news in the sense that the cut cause is stronger than ever. It will be interesting to see how Dow is going to trade this. I was stopped out in my GJ when UJ roared down like a monster. So I'm not taking carry trades position until having Dow figured out.

Yup, bye-bye dollar... except that stupid cable is retracing to pre-release price

Moved my SL to 9675, in case it does decide to continue down - not quite willing to give up 2x25 pips.

Ah, ok, I see it's perking back up.
Now, be a good cable and inch up towards, say, 1.98? I know you can do it! Be the little engine that could!!!

i been watching cable thread call for short since 1.9550 and they are still calling short after this thing went up over 170 pips, there's heavy losses in the cable thread right now.

That's what I started with but moved over to BWR's. I had pointed that thread to the newbies. Once they're comfortable with that, I'll point out BWR's. Wouldn't want them pissing BWR off about call's and one hour charts....

Also, found BWR's to smooth out fake crossovers versus the 5/8.

don't be surprise if that 1 point cut helps the dollar, we can't just assume its all free pips on long g/u.

this is true, it's always a first time for anything cut .50 now then cut another .50 at the meeting instead of doing it all at once witch will kill the dollar.
