It seem that u just got in at the time the new is release. Isnt it one of the fobidden rule?

Profit +53 pips from my last entry. Price is pulled back after hit 200 EMA. I am in waiting position now, price is between 60 & 200 EMA as per Chandra's advise.

I had asked you this before too .. why are your lag 1 and lag 2 setting different than imran's ?? just curious .. plus what are you using for your daily pivot info ??? can you point me to that please ??

I'm sorry for late replay.
Setting for my Lag1 is 0.65 and Lag2 is 0.85. same as advised by Imran and some experts in this thread. Some people advise 0.55 & 0.6 for lag1, but I feel 0.65 is more suitable for me.

I use LaguerreAlert instead of Laguaerre indicator, both will give us the same display while given the same setting. The only difference, LaguerreAlert will give you an alert if the lag meet 0.85 or 0.15. Voices alert also can be activated if you join them with qspeaks. For the arrow near the candles, they are QQE alert v3. The newest version in v5, but I think v3 works better for me. For daily pivot infos and lines, I used pivots indicator.

I found all indicators used in my chart in this thread. Thanks to everyone who has shared the indicators. For easier finding (without go through all the pages), you simply go to the top of this pages and open all attachement in this thread (right side of pages' numbers)

I am having this post here since I think there are so many experienced traders in this thread. My question is about setting up e-mail alerts in MT4. Even though I have read so many things on the web, I could not figure that out. Can anyone tell me the right configuration for the email account and password as follow:

E-mail Address: [email protected] ( this is made up e-mail)
Password: 1234 (this is made up password)

Go to: MT4, Tools, Options, E-mail:

Enable= checked
SMTP server= smtp.mail.hotmail.com ( also tried: mail.hotmail.com ,mail.hotmail.com:25, mx1.hotmail.com)
SMTP Login= [email protected]
SMTP Password= 1234
From= Fx97
To= [email protected]

I have read that hotmail account does not work and also tried gmail account(of course with different settings), however, it did not work out either.

How about getting alert directly to your cell phone ( in USA): Say, for cingular

Phone number= 1234567890 ( this is also used to login their website)
Login= 1234 ( this is also used as password to login into their website)

Enable= checked
SMTP server= CWMX.com (also tried: smtp.cwmx.com, smtp.cwmx.com:25, smtp.mymmode.com:25, smtp.attwireless.net)
SMTP Login= 1234567890
SMTP Password= 1234

just put an entry buy gj at208.29, sl 207.98, tp 208.37... sorry can't post it live because has things to do... the result is PROFIT.. but the profit should be more since I'm targeting should be around 20-30 pips...

I'm trying to work with this strategy, cause I've found it very interesting. I've printed "manual", set indics on chart & start play always consulting manual before entry. Result: loss What is possible reason? My setup is exact as in manual: I use Lags 0.6 & 0.8 and MACD 12, 20, 9 (no Stoch at all), SL = 20, TP = 50.
Any tips, because I'm struck with it...

It is not about studies settings but really indicator value.
To go long we need to wait for both lags to be bigger than 0.45.
I would have expected that to go short we need to wait for both lag to be smaller than 0.65.

If not conditions to enter long and short are not exaclty the same and we have a bias to the short side.

From my less experiences using this system, if I have to wait both lag to be bigger than 0.45 for long or smaller than 0.65 for short, usually I'll miss the trend. Watch the sampels in Imran'sBestPractices that you've shared to us. I think most all Imran are there by chart samples.
