Hi Bo,
I have read the thread all the way through (though only once) and I am confused by the number of/names of all the fibs.
Do you really have all these fibs? Or are some just alternative (or temporary) names for an already named fib?
Here is my list (though I might have missed some):
1. Daily - covers the last all emcompasing move (D1 chart).
2. Intermediate - the last main move on the D1 chart.
3. Range - only used when in a ranging rather than trending period (as determined by the envelope). This covers the largest swing of the range.
4. Up Fib - the main up swing off the D1 chart?
5. Down Fib - the main down swing off the D1 chart?
6. Retracement Fib - covers the retracement (>61.8%) of the daily range?
7. Intraday - the most recent swing of the last 24 (or more if there has only been consolidation in previous day) hours.
8. Swing Fib - the latest complete swing on the H1 chart?
- or the retracement swing from the Intraday Fib range?


Are these correct? How many charts do you use simultaneously for them?

I got +16 out of a potential +50 I saw on screen at one point...now it's going back up. Oh well.

Im just looking at it back on M1. It moved about 60pips in 2 mins. 30 up and 30 down.

I'm back in for free trade - M1 cleaned up after all that noise and is doing the higher high/low thing, plus it's bouncing off Intraday Long, and almost reached intraday high on that first spike so I'm thinking it might be making a run for it now. If not, no harm done.

KAPOW!

THe M1 chart looks like one of those textbook stock chart examples you pay $69 for at Amazon.

Got stopped out for +11 on this move and +16 on the first spike. So I got +27, about half the range of that whole move one way. I'm getting better at this stuff.

I didnt like the look of it on M1. At 39 and 53 mins past the hour it made two consecutive lower highs. I would have exited there if i was still in, but then it rallied and made a higher low, which gave me an inkling it may go again. I was going to post my thoughts when my boss came into the office.

Sure enough it took off again, and now is above the previous high. Happy days for you my friend

Now that I jumped out it's creeping up again but it's only made it around where I got stopped out that last time. Oh wait now it's a little higher...and higher....it might go all the way today. But I'm done.

No actually some of them are the same I just changed the names to try and make it easier to understand what they were for.
The daily and intermediate can be the UP and down trends
The retracement is the equivelant of the range fib.

Thats what I was afraid of happening, confusing more than Im actually helping.I may have to either delete the first half of this thread or start another to prevent others from becoming so confused. I'll let everyone vote on it,

1. Start over and eliminate some of the confusion

hi bo i vote you start over if u can... i would love to learn from you from the beginning.... i starting reading from page one and got confused on page one lol.... so let us know what u decide...if not i will try from page one again...thanks so much for all u do

If the delete part of this thread is difficult then , technically is it possible to convert entire thread till 31.12.2007 in PDf format and post this at the beginning on the new thrad . Those who need refernece can be done by pdf .

From 1.1.2008 whatever we discussed in this new year can be incorporated in the new thread .

This way we have new thread as well the old contnent is not lost .
