The market's so jittery, excellent Aud data and nary a reaction on AJ and AU imvho. Usually the market jumps on those pairs and drives them to the sky on good data.
There was a revision in the previous, even though the actual was better than the revision drop.

Carry trades are on-hold until further clue. UJ is dead for days already. GJ moved today on good UK data, otherwise it would be stalling as well.

Some more to add to the jitter

Jan. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Citigroup Inc. may post a larger loss than previously estimated because the biggest U.S. bank may have to take a $16 billion writedown in the fourth quarter, Merrill Lynch & Co. analyst Guy Moszkowski said.


New York-based Citigroup may post a loss of $1.43 a share in the fourth quarter, almost twice the previous estimate of 73 cents, Moszkowski wrote in a note to clients today.

The key to the mint is to which side Uj is going to break out of this 108 - 109.5 range.

If backed on a strong fundi, it will be a trade to keep in GJ

My last Gj stopped out for -100 on the last UJ failure off the top of the range...

Wasn't Mr. Halifax this morning I'd be REAAAALLLYYYY pissed off by now...

Calling it a day. Now only checking the stoploss shootout in other threads after the news.

WOW... now the market has calculations to make...

Huge blow in the Housing data -2.6% WITH HUUUUGGEE MONSTER correction in the previous 3.7% (previous 0.6%)

Forecast scenario was previous 0.6% - 0.7% = -0.1%

Actual is -2.6% + 3.7% = +1.1%

I wish I was a mosquito in the Wall Street offices by now
