equities dropping, carry trades also drop (most of the time follows equities)....what happened to equities ? normally end of each year and January, fund managers will evaluate the current portfolio and making a new one, sell here sell there....before buying again ...

The thing is COMMODITY like GOLD and OIL also dropping right now That's what make the market HAYWIRE right now. Lots of PATIENCE is needed.

I still dont think the will go recession, its all about politics now. Anyway we just have to sit back and watch, no one has a clear answer.

I looked back to the data, which 911 (2001) consider one of the worst time for the US, where USD shoot up alot. Will USD shoot up against all the currencies ? We shall see, im looking forward to it.

unless we see a burst in the chinese bubble, otherwise I see USD bounce as opportunity to sell, just my opinion

And longer bars are much better compared to a short one. 2. pattern must formed after a good run up or down and the more bars the run up and run down, the more likely to be reliable. careful with those formed during consolidation. 3. If nearby the trouble zone, it would be better.

suggest to also have a peak at longer period. Sometimes, the chances to fail is higher, for example, hourly or daily shows a sign of exhaustion of a run down but weekly and monthly is very bearish.

Im new here. Happy to see malaysian forumn in Forex trading.
Sorry not very much good in english.

I am a GU only trading person and i've read a lot about posting from other thread concerning about the pair since the bearish momentum occurred late last year.

The latest news that got my intention:

Opening this monday, GU gonna up to atleast 1.9800 and then turn down to atleast 1.9400

Profits per trade 583%.
CADCHF is at 1.1057 for 507 pips profits.

Liquidate those positions on Monday and prepare to short EURUSD or AUDUSD or long GBPAUD

It would be nice if you could correlate your analysis with a THING called CHART to support your argument.

BTW, if your analysis is 'correct', why not try to HEDGE the positions, i.e 1 post BUY and another is SHORT.

As a swing trader, I wouldn't dare to SHORT GU at least for this month.

well, i like to share a bit of my humble trading technique. For me, entering trade is simple, its how to get out that matter. I'm using a simple MA cross and doube MA filter to enter my trade, and exit on same MA cross or nearest fibo line >20pips. If my position is againts me, I hedge it with MA cross with a unique lots calculation that allow me to profit all open orders with 50pips price move.
MA 5,10 cross
MA 72,100 filter
Fibo all timeframe
exit > 20pips
work on 5, 15, 60 or higher timeframe
