I also see GJ and UJ at strong support and also Dow Jones is close to the 10% off high level, which is traditionally the level where agressive buying appears.

See the chart: the pink lines are 10% off the highest price.

1- Just becareful with GJ longs in case this level goes. Hell will break loose in this case.

2- There is a H&S in full effect in GJ which target is around 200/ 190. It might swing a lot before these levels come

I'm not calling for doomsday here. Just a heads up.

Hi guys,

Gap down possible, but only to 213.37, imho. I personally think this will retrace a bit here. If I see a close below 213.37 then i will get worried about the retrace.

I have minimum targets of:
Target 1: 216.20
Target 2: 218.80

Fed Will Take Us to Recession

Unemployment’s at a two-year high, and still the Federal Reserve is worried about inflation. No wonder the Dow dropped 257 points on Friday. It’s not like we couldn’t see this coming, though, Cramer said. Well, he did anyway. But Bernanke and gang played it conservative, and here we are.

“I almost have to believe this Federal Reserve wanted to write a dissertation on a recession that it created itself,” Cramer told viewers, alluding to the central bank’s academic predilections. “Well, summa cum laude to Ben Bernanke.”

And that talk of injecting liquidity into the markets: “joke, joke, joke – all of it,” Cramer said. “These bums simply don’t know how it works. They've never traded.”

The Fed’s “incrementalism” has Cramer thinking “they’re going to take us into a recession right around election time.”
The only bright spot the Mad Money host sees is the extremely negative sentiment among hedge funds, causing low valuations in infrastructure, oil, agriculture, defense and gold – and that’s it.

His message for the foreseeable future: Buy the recession stocks, oil, infrastructure, agriculture, gold, healthcare cost containment and defense because “everything else has been poisoned by the Fed.”

Have started successfully on 1hr to start off, its a big leap to me after trading on 1min and 5min and making 200 pips in a day to waiting to make 500-600 pips in 2-3 days , same result, just patience needed, thanks to your encouragement and guidnace should do good

take care and do keep me posted, i am always looking in this thread for such good analysis from all the super guys here

Still, ``I don't want to forecast a recession,'' he said, ``I would prefer for the National Bureau of Economic Research to call it a recession.''

It started in august i believe,...with a credit squezze, then cuts jobs trou out economy (investment banks) and now the consumer spending is afected, which already drag down manufactures bussiness,... 60 bilion is like an aspirin for a serious ilness,...or with other words, its just a normal phase of changing the direction in polittics in pre-election time under the weel of republicans with a democrats kongress...., depresion indeed.

As long as there is a direction, I don't give a rat's fat ass. Stocks are going to hell? Fine. I will follow them all the way embracing my carry trades

Yep, its when shit drifts sideways that it's hard to make pips. Down? fine. Up? fine. Just give me a clear direction.

Then you should trade the 8 crossing 13 on the 1hr TF
This year I am going to try to stick to 13 crossing 100 but that takes ALOT of discipline and patience. This is leaving positions open for a few months and thats hard.

True, some trades can last for months.

The truth is, I can't go back to the shorter TF's. Too many headaches and a lot of stress. I have been comfortable with the Daily. I read through your diary and finished loading the EMA's. Thanks for the head's up, looks great!

I was actually being facetious, I'm a Daily/Weekly guy. The shortest TF I look at is 4hr

I knew you were (from the aussie thread) but the 1hr is good for adding to or starting a position (based off of daily and 4hr analysis of course)
My stress went down when I took the option away to even look and a TF shorter than 1hr
